After Mo Chou left the dining room to go to her room, everyone excluding An Daiyu of course, lost their appetites. Liu Dai left right after Mo Chou saying he had to return to the office for work.

Mo Li and Liu Qiang also wanted to leave immediately but they stayed with An Daiyu for a couple of minutes before Liu Qiang called the butler and asked him to send An Daiyu to the guest room. Butler Xue led An Daiyu towards the guest room but he was a little confused, "Hadn’t the master prepared a room especially for Miss An Daiyu? Why did he tell me to take her to the guest room?"

Although Butler Xue was puzzled, he was still clever and didn’t question Liu Qiang’s decision. After arriving at the guest room, Butler Xue informed An Daiyu that he would get a maid to send her luggage and took his leave. An Daiyu thanked him before he left with a smile but her expression immediately changed after she closed the door.

She looked around the room in dissatisfaction, "It was probably Mo Li who arranged this small and shabby room for me. I am the future mistress of this house, how dare she not arrange a room for me?"

An Daiyu wanted to throw the decorative vase that was on the bedside table but stopped herself, "haa, let it be, since I’m here already it’s not too late to kick those two outsiders out", she said as she let out a laugh. Soon, there was a knock on the door.

An Daiyu fixed her expression and opened the door. Two maids had bought her luggage, she told them to put the stuff inside with a gentle voice. After the maids finished keeping the luggage inside, An Daiyu thanked them.

The maids looked at the guest and had a good impression of her, which was exactly what An Daiyu wanted, she wanted to turn all the workers of the house to her side. She even wanted to give them some small gifts but stopped herself, ’It won’t be too good to overdo it, anyways I have lots of time’.

After the maids left the guest room, they returned to the rooms which were specifically for the staff to rest. There were already other workers there as the mansion had lots of workers and everyone had plenty of break time. The other maids were curious about the new guest who was rumoured to be the young master’s fiance so they hurriedly asked the two maids about her.

The two maids said that An Daiyu was a polite and gentle lady and praised her. Everyone started to gossip and a maid couldn’t help but say, "it’s nice that Miss An is a good person unlike our arrogant and rude young miss". Some of them agreed but there were also workers who said, "but I think that our young miss has changed and become better".

"I know right, actually the young miss isn’t arrogant or rude anymore. She even smiled at me when I served her food yesterday".

"That’s not only it, I even heard that her studies have improved tremendously and we can even see her jogging outside sometimes" another worker added.

"Is it all true though?"asked the gardener uncertainty, as it was all too good to be true "how can a person change so much?" Many people agreed, It was truly completely different from what they had heard about Mo Chou.

Suddenly someone faked a cough, "ahem ahem, It’s true that the young miss has changed for the better". It was one of Mo Chou’s bodyguards who had spoken. At first, he was quietly listening from the side but he couldn’t help but speak up after hearing everyone’s doubts.

Seeing that it was Mo Chou’s bodyguard who spoke, everyone eagerly wanted to hear more so they said, "tell us more, you are by young miss’s side every day and should know more about her".

The bodyguard was also willing to let them know more about Mo Chou. It was because he had also thought that he would be miserable serving someone like Mo Chou when he had heard about her antics from everyone, but the reality was different and although Mo Chou made all the bodyguards a little scared, she was pretty easy to serve.

All they had to do was guard her from a distance when she went out and as she was at the University the whole day, the bodyguards had nothing to do and could just relax.

Hence, the bodyguard started speaking, "I don’t know how the young miss was really like previously but from my experience, she is easy to get along with and serve. Its also true that she has outstanding grades and is also really popular at her university. Not only that, she once even saved a little kid who was choking out of kindness" he said looking proud.

Everyone felt their mouths drop open. It was even more shocking from what they had heard. "Did the young miss pay you secretly to say good things about her?"a maid asked jokingly but the bodyguard actually got mad. "I don’t have a reason to lie, why would the young miss pay me just to say good things to staff working for her" he said angrily and left.

Everyone felt that what he said made sense. "So the young miss has really become better huh".

"It’s a good thing anyway, if she is easy going it will be easier for us to serve her".

Just like that, everyone forgot about An Daiyu and started talking about the tremendous change in Mo Chou.

Meanwhile Mo Chou was in her room looking for information regarding An Daiyu. She kept feeling that something was wrong. An Daiyu was nothing like the female protagonist described in the novel. She seemed scheming and fake.

An Daiyu hadn’t done anything major but Mo Chou didn’t like her at all. Her gut kept telling her that this so-called female lead was up to no good and Mo Chou always trusted her guts. Even if An Daiyu hadn’t done anything yet, Mo Chou didn’t want to take any chances in case her family got hurt.

She could tell her parents that she didn’t want An Daiyu to be around but that might put Liu Qiang in a difficult position as Liu Qiang’s father had specifically ordered him to take good care of An Daiyu and fulfill her demands.

Liu Qiang was actually scared of his father and didn’t dare anger him. Speaking of her grandfather, Mo Chou had only seen him once, that too on the day of Mo Li and Liu Qiang’s marriage. Old master Liu didn’t like being disturbed by anyone and even his relatives didn’t dare look for him unless they were called by him.

Mo Chou had heard that after the death of Liu Qiang’s mother, Old master Liu had refused to interact with anyone and stayed all year round in a quiet courtyard with only a few servants serving him. Unless it was a big matter, Old master Liu didn’t leave the house at all.

Even in the novel, Old master Liu had only appeared during Liu Dai and An Daiyu’s wedding as he felt like he should attend due to the old promise to his old friend.

Mo Chou felt like it might be difficult to get rid of An Daiyu if old master Liu insisted on supporting her. Since she hadn’t really met him, Mo Chou didn’t know his personality and she knew that old people could be quite stubborn.

After looking around, Mo Chou didn’t find much. Just like in the novel, An Daiyu had good grades since the beginning and passed her high school graduation with flying colours. She didn’t have any close friends but was well known and popular everywhere. She was admitted to a top university last year and had quickly become a well known figure in the university.

Mo Chou felt herself getting bored as she already knew about these things but as she kept reading, something caught her attention. She was going through An Daiyu’s University records and it showed that around three months ago, An Daiyu’s grades had started going down and she had even failed to attend many classes. Not only that, she had missed handing over all her assignments too.

The University had arranged a Councillor for her as they were concerned, but An Daiyu had just claimed that she wasn’t feeling well physically and wanted a break.

She then had suddenly decided to transfer to Capital University and was now here.

Mo Chou wanted to know what An Daiyu had been doing during her ’break’ but she couldn’t find anything in her university records.

Mo Chou decided to look for her weibo account and quickly found it but didn’t see anything out of the blue. Of course that didn’t mean Mo Chou gave up, instead she looked into An Daiyu’s friends list and started her ’research’.

After about half an hour of searching, Mo Chou couldn’t believe the things she had found.
