Chapter 1129: Watching Closely
Chapter 1129: Watching Closely
The two demigod-level knights from Magus World were both chivalrous enough.
When the demigod-level half-wolffolk stepped up to take the lead, they stopped arguing.
This son of Eugene clearly had some real skill—he was no showpiece.
Letting out a howl, he charged toward the demigod-level Bouldrak on his wolf mount without hesitation.
There were no grand speeches to introduce himself and no taunts for his enemy—just raw, unfiltered violence!
Were the half-beastmen who invaded the Bouldrak World and its vassal planes truly the evil invaders the natives claimed them to be?
Maybe.
But from the half-beastmen’s perspective, they had every reason to fight.
They were fighting for their people, for the right to live freely and equally in Beastmen World.
To them, this war was just!
The clash between the two demigods triggered a full-scale engagement between both sides.
As the attackers, the half-beastman legions had the advantage in numbers and high-ranking fighters. The battle tilted in their favor early on.
Though fewer in number, the defending forces on this microplane had home field advantage.
And this was only their first wave of defense.
Given enough time, this plane’s reinforcements would arrive.
That was why Sein and the others needed to push hard and expand their foothold quickly—before the defenders could rally and increase the difficulty of their mission.
Tosk, the half-wolffolk, was a ferocious warrior. Riding atop his wolf mount and wielding a scimitar, he put up a good fight against the demigod-level Bouldrak.
But the outcome of an interplanar war was never determined by a solo battle.
After quickly finishing the battlefield coordinations, Sein moved to the frontlines himself.
He dispatched the two demigod-level knights to launch a pincer attack, flanking the enemy from both sides.
His goal was to crush this three hundred thousand-strong native force completely.
Meanwhile, the other demigod-level half-bearfolk led the half-beastman main army straight through the front, maintaining their overwhelming advantage in head-on combat.
When Sein reached the front lines, the battle was already in full swing.
This microplane was apparently called the Boubor World, and its native creatures were putting up a stubborn fight.
Geo elemental beings were known for their simplicity and straightforwardness, and that usually meant they were also incredibly stubborn.
If anyone befriended a geo elemental creature, their friendship would last a long time.
But if it decided someone was an enemy, no amount of reasoning or apology would change its mind.
The half-beastmen needed to survive, but so did the native creatures of Boubor World.
It was an unavoidable conflict where only one party could emerge victorious.
“My Radiant Heart Rod, they shall be your first blood,” Sein murmured as he flew into the fray.
When the magic rod appeared, glowing with brilliant red and white elemental light, the world seemed to dim for just a moment, as though it had lost a bit of its own shine.
Explosive pyro elemental energy, wrapped in radiant lumen energy, surged from Sein’s weapon.
He was the master of elemental power in this world!
Then came Penetrating Eye—a powerful forbidden spell unleashed through his magic rod.
But this time was a different experience.
Not only did Sein have two half-beastmen fighting in front of him, but the spell itself had been refined and enhanced over time.
Its casting speed, destructive force—everything—surpassed what he had managed back in Faeloria.
As the blazing Penetrating Eye spell beam tore across the sky, it looked like the entire heavens had been split in two.
Countless creatures of the Boubor World—even the half-beastman legions in the midst of combat—instinctively turned their gaze upward.
It was a power far beyond what mortals could ever hope to comprehend!
Forbidden spells represented the pinnacle of magical achievement in Magus World.
And while Sein’s Penetrating Eye might only be considered a “miniature forbidden spell” in terms of classification, it was still a terrifying force.

The light of the forbidden spell shone through the skies of Boubor Plane.
At the same time, the war in the Bouldrak World had reached its most intense stage.
As a low-level world ruled by the Rank Five Bouldrak King, its response to war and crisis was far better than Boubor Plane.
In addition to the Bouldrak King, the world was also protected by two Rank Four Geo Elemental Lords.
One of them was a Bouldrak, while the other was a variant—the Obsidian Crystal Giant.
Having three beings at Rank Four or above made this world one of the strongest among the low-level planes.
Back during Sein’s first interplanar war, the Viridian Venom Flame World had also boasted a Rank Five powerhouse—Anridar the Venom Flame Demon King. But overall, that world was clearly not on the same level as this one.
Right now, Eugene was locked in battle with the Bouldrak King.
Taking on a Rank Five while still at Rank Four was a serious challenge for Eugene.
Meanwhile, Senarius, the God of Forest, and Reksha, the Champion of Wilderness, were each fighting one of the two Rank Four geo elemental creatures.
The God of Forest did not come alone. He had been moved by Eugene’s speech before the war.
For the sake of Eugene’s dreams and the future of the half-beastmen, Senarius went against his parents’ advice and brought with him an army of around half a million tree nymphs and forest wanderers.
There were things Senarius could not do on his own—but he would fight tooth and nail to help Eugene realize his dreams!
Reksha, the stronger of the two, had taken on the toughest opponent—the Obsidian Crystal Giant.
His massive twin broadaxes left sparks flying every time they struck the giant’s obsidian body—but despite that, the giant barely flinched.
Geo elemental creatures had always been known for their toughness.
This particular crystal giant’s strength was so well-known that its name had spread to other nearby planes and even reached certain distant stars beyond the Bouldrak Plane.
If the Rank Five Bouldrak King did not exist, this Obsidian Crystal Giant would be the undisputed champion of its world.
As for the Drunken Panda Immortal, he had not joined the Rank Four battles just yet.
Instead, he had thrown himself into the chaotic melee below, where the lesser creatures clashed.
His Fire Cloud Swallowing Mist technique was devastating in this war.
With his help, the half-beastman army suffered fewer casualties and was able to press its advantage on the battlefield.
***
While the battle raged on in Bouldrak World, plenty of eyes on the other side of Beastmen World were watching closely.
As the King of Beasts, the God of Beastmen—Kampas—sat high on his divine throne, quietly observing the war through a light screen of divine power.
He was not the only one.
Within the grand hall of his divine nation, hundreds of deities were now present, scattered throughout the chamber in small clusters.
More than half of Beastmen World’s deities had shown up.
Among them stood a Rank Five wolf god near the front, and his expression was not a pleasant one.
He was a fairly well-known powerhouse in Beastman World, revered as the “Jackal God.”
Many from Magus World and the Magus Alliance recognized him and had befriended him.
But it was not his power that earned him such wide recognition; it was his business.
He was the most prominent slave trader of Beastmen World—arguably the one holding up its economy.
The “Frodo Empire” that Eugene had mentioned in his speech was the heart of the slave trade industry under the command of the Jackal God.
Every year, hundreds of thousands—sometimes even millions—of beastman slaves were sold through the Frodo Empire and exported to various planes across the Magus Alliance.
A large number of those slaves were half-beastmen.
