Sky-cracking Rider
Chapter 1061 - 1061: Section 1042 - Have you lived enough? (Illustration)

Fear stems from the unknown, and the current unknown is the "Sagali" civilization. Their successive invasions, especially with parasitic traits, inevitably cause panic, no matter how often the sovereignties seal off the news. In such a long period, there's no way to completely conceal the truth.

The eyes of the masses are sharp, and there is a skill called word of mouth, which the sovereignties cannot stop.

The first to hear the news are the societal upper echelons; those big figures always have various channels, including well-informed individuals. Then it reaches those around these big figures; even the slightest hint can easily piece together the general content, and thus the news spreads to those who should not hear it, and yet it does not stop there.

Often, due to some individuals or because they speak without restraint, leak it, or usually love to brag and show off, or drink and lose control, or talk in their sleep and many other reasons, the news about Blue Star being coveted by alien civilization spreads little by little, inevitably so.

At first, not many paid attention, as society is already flooded with all sorts of hard-to-discern true and false information, with all kinds of strange tales, almost everything.

But as time goes on, similar sources of information increased, and when the sovereignties realized the "Sagali" civilization's information was quietly spreading, it was too late to stop it.

In every stage of human history, there are never lacking troublemakers who fear that things won't get chaotic enough; they particularly enjoy dragging others down to hell when they seek their own demise.

Some mysterious groups joined in, fueling the flames in various ways, making the situation increasingly uncontrollable. It is really unknown what benefit they think they can gain from exterminating the human race, so understanding these people with normal thinking is completely unreasonable.

Blue Star is a place like heaven geologically, the American Federation usually accumulates a large number of social conflicts, and those politicians and media just love to cover up the truth and embellish it, this traditional craft shouldn't be underestimated; even the First Sovereign across the ocean wasn't spared, becoming a victim (the military equipment performance fraud event: The First Sovereignty fought so hard to barely meet the standard, only to realize later that they themselves could not do it, so what was all the fuss about? Isn't that infuriating?)

When the social contradictions hidden by lies completely explode, the power is beyond everyone's imagination, even those organizations and forces that lit the fuse themselves are stupefied, and it ends up like this now, with such a large federated sovereignty showing signs of breaking up and dismantling itself, the Federation is good, the Federation is wonderful, the Federation is tops, what a big bomb planted personally by George Washington himself, if fifty states are torn into fifty sovereignties, fully enjoying oil resources, toxic independence, and democracy, that would be something!

Arsonists never have the ability to extinguish fires, it has always been so since ancient times.

Like hitting a vital point, the North American Continent of the American Federation became utterly chaotic in a short period.

Other sovereignties looked at it and couldn't help but twitch at the corners of their mouths, the arrogant American Federation for nearly a hundred years, and it's come to this? No wonder all reactionaries are just paper tigers.

The consequences caused by sudden riots are severe, Chen Fei's supply list suffered from the unexpected calamity, many items are produced by the American Federation, both the North and South Continents have suppliers, the South Continent still manages production, but the North Continent truly cannot anymore.

Not only this, his joint business with Boss Hana in the American Federation also suffered great impacts, several large agents' nearly a hundred distributor terminal retail stores directly went bust, the main loss wasn't even from looting but rather the accompanying smashing, robbing, and burning, stores turned into ruins, adding casualties, store owners directly went bankrupt, some desperate ones even took up arms to retaliate against society.

Louis Industrial Company possesses certain armed forces inherently, especially after the last "Wormhole Cloud" outbreak event, the security team got enhancements, the surrounding police stations received strong support, flying in the sky, charging on the ground, even equipped with combat mobility armor, the cops have never fought such a wealthy battle.

Even so, Louis Industrial Company could not withstand the pervasive harassment and sabotage, constantly under attack with small rockets almost nonstop, as the factory area is too large, it is impossible to truly encircle it like a Great Wall, not to mention the needs of so many people's lives, it's impossible to completely seal off.

Those odd people probably think that by sacrificing Louis Industrial Company, the "Sagali" civilization will approve of their actions and even reward them, perhaps with a spot on the top of the parasitic species list, maybe their brains are filled with crap!

After learning about the situation at Louis Industrial Company from Mr. Randon, Chen Fei knows he can't help, the best thing he can do is look after himself.

Fortunately, the big shot had arrangements in place, sending part of the supplies ahead to a giant battleship next to the "Ordovician Star" abnormal region on the Gali Peninsula in North America, there is Louis Industrial Company's backup R&D team and some simplified production lines, manpower is readily available to satisfy some needs on the supply list.

Considering that North America is in chaos, Chen Fei ordered the giant battleship to take off immediately and join him on Socotra Island.

The first batch of supplies from the First Sovereign may not be able to arrive in one go, so Chen Fei, learning from Louis Landon's foresight, prepared to become self-reliant, figuring a way to mass-produce Super Star Crystals, Element Annihilation Bombs, Combat Mech, and various common semiconductor components and modules by himself.

Very coincidentally, the city "Atlantis" collected into the "Boundary Pearl" happens to be a ready-made super industrial zone.

With the efforts of nearly 20,000 action troops and hundreds of thousands of mechanical beings during the "Wall of Sighs" operation, they have built numerous supporting industrial chains in the city enough to provide mass production for various combat units.

Therefore, Chen Fei's temporary self-sufficient plan isn't without feasibility.

On the second day of arriving on Socotra Island.

Last night, the smoke-filled barbecue site full of earthly charm was cleaned up completely, turned into a training ground, early in the morning the neat sound of Marine Corps soldiers' marching could be heard.

A communication number labeled "Sky Dragon City Dragon King's Office" called Chen Fei's phone.

"This is Chen Fei!"

"Thank you very much for proactively reporting the information about the Fire Element Dragon Heart Core, Sky Dragon City will remember your help and pay the corresponding rewards."

The tone and voice of the person speaking with Chen Fei were very formal, sounding human rather than the naturally superior tone of a dragon.

It's not surprising that Sky Dragon City would outsource some work to service providers of other intelligent species, given that smaller species have a natural advantage in such areas, and, most importantly, save space, as even Sky Dragon City has limited space.

Chen Fei tentatively asked, "I have a request. I wonder if Sky Dragon City can agree to it."

The person on the other end was not a dragon, which meant some things could be spoken out loud without fear of provoking a violent reaction from the dragons.

"Please go ahead!"

The staff at the Dragon King's Office maintained the same courteous tone as they had at the beginning.

"I want to keep the Fire Dragon Heart Core and make it into a weapon!"

The thought of turning a Dragon Heart Core into an Element Annihilation Bomb was somewhat exciting. The annihilation power might even be able to obliterate half of Blue Star in one go.

"..."

The other party was silent for a moment before eventually responding, "Are you serious?"

The proper course of action should be to return the Dragon Heart Core intact to the Sky Dragon City of the Dragon Clan and receive a modest reward. The Dragon Clan would appreciate this gesture, bringing happiness to both parties.

As for the giant dragon remains and other relics, those weren't deliberately pursued. The Dragon King's Office in Sky Dragon City would tacitly remain silent, as both parties likely understood they would probably be turned into various magical potions and alchemy products, serving one last purpose. The Cangqiong Star Civilization used to do the same, and it had become an unwritten rule that applied not only to dragons but other magical beasts as well.

The significance of a Dragon Heart Core is entirely different. It's rare for a dragon dying outside of Sky Dragon City to leave behind its Heart Core. Each Dragon Heart Core is a valuable asset of Sky Dragon City.

Turning it directly into a weapon is virtually declaring war against the Dragon Clan.

No wonder the staff at the Dragon King's Office twitched at the mouth while confirming with Chen Fei, asking if he was tired of living.

If it was just a moment of foolish talk, it would end with the staff.

If the dragons heard about it, they'd storm in with great ferocity, demanding an explanation. Who the hell gave you the courage to ask for such a brazen thing!

"Report it! This Heart Core should have been left specifically for me, and I should have complete control over it!"

Chen Fei vividly remembered the words the Fire Dragon shouted when it briefly regained sanity before death.

Normally, the creature would split its Heart Core before dying, yet it deliberately left it intact this time. Its final wish was likely to use all its remains against the 'Sagali' Civilization and avenge itself.

The related battle video had long been packaged and sent over. Sky Dragon City should have no trouble understanding the full context.

"Your request will anger the Dragon Clan and put your life at risk. Please reconsider carefully."

This was shaping up to be a cordial conversation for everyone's benefit, but it somehow took a dramatic turn, ending with a wish for death. The staff at the Dragon King's Office felt a headache coming on.

"I have considered it carefully. Please report it truthfully."

Chen Fei answered seriously.

"Aren't you afraid a dragon will come looking for trouble with you?"

The staff, out of personal concern, kindly reminded him once more.

"I have already killed two dragons directly with my own hands!"

Chen Fei calmly stated a fact.

The house-raised Sparrow Sparrow even took down a dragon, and in a more tragic fashion—it was disintegrated, not leaving a trace. Now, when magical beasts on Cangqiong Star see a flock of Pure Light Sparrows, they inexplicably panic.
