SILVER-HEART
Chapter 80: Obliteration

Chapter 80: Obliteration

The sight of Ava was enough to stop his slow-beating heart until there was no sound left. Taking in the horror that unfolded.

She’s lost, staring at the skies with no light in her eyes almost like she has given up on life itself. And what made his heart twist like a tunnel was the bloody sight, her clothes completely ripped from her body in shreds... various parts of her skin in open deep wounds, standing in the pool of her own blood.

Something sparkled within him... but it wasn’t just anger... It was bloodlust.

Instantly the entire area was covered in ice leaving only the pixies who parted away from her in fear as they caught sight of the Fox guardian himself, who they haven’t even dared near.

Cleo’s eyes trembled in pure fear along with her colony as they watched the Fox guardian grab her possessively.

"T-The fox guardian" she muttered in fear never seeing him up close and never even dared to be near, what is he doing here? Why is he holding onto that Fairy like she belongs to him?

The fairy didn’t mention having any relations with the fox guardian, nor did she say where she came from.

A strong chill of fear ran through Cleo when she saw the wrath ready to unleash before them. She and the rest of her colony were all too frozen in fear to even speak or beg the moment they laid eyes on his void orbs.

Death was at their doorstep.

All color drained from him, he was ghostly white and his eyes a void of darkness, his silver hair glowed under the moonlight but it was not one to be gazed at as beauty... but it was the sight of an angel of death.

Cleo could see her life flash before her eyes.

"Shatter"

A mere phrase from him that held venom that caused the entire obliteration of the Pixie colony leaving nothing but blood remains... and their land turning to ice shreds as they broke apart causing horrifying breaks that enveloped their cries and begs.

Cleo froze in the air as she watched her kindred turn into a pile of blood, their body crumbling, their bones pulverizing.

"Mercy," she said with tear-filled eyes hoping to be spared, for she does not want to be wiped away from the face of the earth.

But the death before her didn’t flinch and didn’t acknowledge.

Mercy? There is no mercy when his mate has been touched.

There is only blood.

What was left were her screams as she experienced the same hell as her kindred. Over and Over... again.

"What do you mean? Knowledge of the Pixie tribe has vanished?" Elvenia asked with quivering eyes.

Severus nodded with melancholy eyes, not even the faintest smile was noted even though he was an amused person. "Everything is gone... they don’t exist anymore"

Elvenia covered her mouth as her eyes shocked in blemish, and her body did too... this was too much... wiping all colonies out of the face of this earth? This wasn’t the master she knew. Although William isn’t the most affectionate person, he only cares about your use to him and doesn’t do attachments... but that doesn’t mean he was a monster, he’s a pure soul that looked upon knowledge itself, he was the light of this place and the light to them.

But this?

"Sophia?" Severus’ question snapped her out of her thoughts.

"I just put her to sleep. She’s been crying since and wants to see the young miss. Upon my protest, she cried until she fell asleep"

Severus nodded. "And the young miss?"

Elvenia felt a spark of pain in her chest and the image plagued her, William coming to the entrance of the library carrying a blood-covered Ava... they were both covered in blood to be clear, but Ava’s state was horrifying, there was barely enough flesh keeping her body together.

She has always known the fate of a fairy was not pleasant due to their nature... but this... what she saw... It was frightening, she knew Pixies although they are malicious creatures, only trick and do pranks but instead their true nature was shown when they set their eyes on Ava.

She’s that too appealing...

"The young miss is with the Master, bathing in his blood" she answered.

Severus nodded knowing that would be the case, it was only the master that could put her back into one piece, his blood would heal her physically but he wasn’t so sure about the trauma she had faced.

"Have you noticed?"

He darted his eyes to Elvenia who had her gaze cast down, he never thought he would see her this way... she was always one to keep a stern expression no matter what but judging by her expression with fear in her eyes it was only natural, after what they saw...

"I didn’t hear his heartbeat" Her teeth clenched. "I-It stopped"

Severus’ fist tightened, he said nothing but he could only imagine it, visualize the scene when the Master saw his mate being eaten alive, no one could stand that. Ever since that day the warmth that covered the castle was gone and replaced with a chilly wave.

Even skies that were always bright with sunlight were covered in clouds, the flowers and trees all colorful with the butterflies roaming around were gone and what remained was nothing but the cold snow.

He placed his palm on her shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"I-It will be alright," he said, not even sure of himself, he was shaking too just like she is.

William stood naked in the crimson water, still as a statute and lifeless like a corpse, his wrists split open by his fangs that provided the endless flow of his blood into it, constantly pumping out... but he didn’t care, he didn’t feel any pain, he didn’t feel anything.

His dark eyes were glued to the floating body before him covered in his blood, her wounds and flesh slowly covering up, every tissue being replaced, every skin being covered and connecting back to where they should be.

A process that has been happening for days and he stood watching without moving an inch from his position and not taking his eyes off her.
