Chapter 200: Epilogue

Chapter 200: Epilogue

THE HOLY LIBRARY

"Estel?" William called, feeling his hands on the table. She was meant to be at his table but she was missing again. William knew no doubt she would be at the tree just at the cliff again, so he headed there, allowing the auras he could feel to lead him. But just when he was at the compound he paused hearing a whooshing sound.

A portal?

No doubt it felt like it and he didn’t remember opening one, curious he walked towards the direction of it and deeper into the gardens until he finally stopped in front of the two trees holding a portal.

"Leylines?" he said knowing no doubt it is... but he thought no one can connect to it. "Estel" Without a second thought William walked through it.

Suddenly an unfamiliar scent filled his nose, was this the Elven woods? It didn’t smell like this, it smelt completely different like he was in a whole new dimension.

"Estel!"

At the sound Estel and the others turned to it and Yelena froze where she was when she set her eyes on the man that suddenly appeared from nowhere. Her eyes trembling as she took in every inch of him, until to stop herself she was already walking towards him with wide eyes.

William suddenly heard footsteps and instantly turned his head to it and a scent filled his nose, one that caused his entire body to go numb.

"Who are you?" William asked the sudden footstep approaching him.

"W-William?" Yelena said with a shaky breath as tears gathered in her eyes.

William’s body instantly freezes when he hears that voice, a voice that has plagued his dreams many times in a song, and the warm aura that flooded from her was the exact same, the same one that held him when he was just a baby.

"Mother?"

Yelena covered her mouth and then she broke into tears, without a second thought she embraced him wrapping her arms around him and William just stood frozen, he could feel it, there was no doubt this was the woman in his dreams and almost his mother.

With shaky hands, he placed his hands on her back as she cried in his arms calling his name over and over as she crumbled. William’s lips quivered as an unrecognized feeling found his chest, his mind going blank and all he thought about was this warmth that embraced him and the melodious voice that called his name over and over again.

Before he knew it, tears slid down his cheeks, and he embraced her tightly, all his hidden feelings coming to the surface, the longing for a mother he never thought he had, one he thought he would never need.

He wanted to be angry... he wanted to shout at why she left him but right at this moment, he couldn’t bring himself to do any of that, for all the negative feeling was gone.

"Mother," he said in their embrace.

She pulled away and cupped his cheeks. "Look at you all grown up, a man" she sniffed as the endless tears fell. "I’m so so sorry I wasn’t there with you, my child, I’m sorry it took so long, I’m sorry" she hugged him again. "I knew you would come back to us one day"

A smile found William’s lips as she buried his face in her neck.

"I’m home, mother" he held her tightly. "I’m home"

’Papa has never been the happiest ever since he reunited with Grandma and Grandpa, and I have never seen Papa cry so much. I’m happy I was able to open this doorway, a place where Papa can exist with his parents. I’m the only one capable of doing it and the Leylines respond to my will, so we weren’t bothered about any danger from the other dimension who might seek the library.

Papa is able to meet with his parents as much as he wants and I enjoy spending time with my grandparents too. The first moment between my papa and grandma was so heartfelt, and when my papa met with my grandpa at first it was all awkward, I guess men have their own way of relaying affections differently.

I remember Papa and Grandpa spending a lot of time together over the years and it was like a dream come through. My family is bigger than I ever thought it would be and I love every moment of it, aunt Sylvia and especially Uncle Logan. Our family is complete... for eternity.

My name is Estel Darkmore and I’m the Fairy who reunites all’

Estel wrote the last line in her diary with a smile on her lips before dropping the quill back in the ink and closing her book.

A\N: And that marks the end of SILVER-HEART! Thank you for your patience all through, it was definitely really an emotional roller coaster! I want to specially thank all my readers that came from the SILVER-HAIRED. I was so happy to see so many of you and I’m truly grateful y’all embarked on this magical journey with me!

I hope the ending and the story were pleasing to everyone’s expectations. I also think there will be a side story, either to add in some parts or a glimpse of the next book.

And surely there will be a book 3, the story isn’t over yet!

Firstly: The glimpse of the future that Aldon saw when he touched Estel will be emphasized in book 3.

Secondly: I think Estel will play a role in book 3 too, I don’t know yet though but I think her powers will be crucial in the next book. Lay your thoughts about this here!

And as you all know, anticipate the next book and it will be about our devious unbothered Logan Darkmore, hehe. What do you think of his character so far?

Love you, guys! Sending virtual kisses...

PS: BLOOD LEGACIES will now resume updates, please go read it because it’s set in the same world as the Silver series but focused on the Magical beings in the Mortal Realm.
