Chapter 188: You And Me With Estel
Chapter 188: You And Me With Estel
"You and me with Estel"
A smile found his lips and it was just simply breathtaking.
"You and me with Estel"
The rest of the night we spent in each other arms, William hugging me from behind with his neck buried in my neck, his arms tightly wrapped around me like I would disappear from his hold, and in addition, we both didn’t sleep.
Estel came awake and I needed to breastfeed her, thanks to the little lesson I was taught back in Aethel I knew what to do. And now Estel was wild awake and I moved her from her crib to the bed, just right in front of us, her little feet and hands dancing as she made baby noises, her eyes opening and closing once in a while.
"You have your skin tone," I said. I felt William smile on my neck. "My eyes like you said and my hair"
"There is nothing more I want..."
"Can we do this? You know we never talked about this..."
"But I Initiated the idea, didn’t I?"
I giggled but then I blushed when I remembered exactly how he did.
’First I will have to fill you up with my seed won’t I?’
His words filled my senses.
"Y-Yes, you did"
"Why are you suddenly hot?"
"N-Nothing! So what I said... I don’t know what it means to be a mother"
"I don’t know how to be a father"
"You’re knowledgeable you know that..."
"Yes... Books have all the knowledge but they can never tell you how to be a good parent, that is something that comes through experience"
He was right.
"W-Will we be good though?"
"Together we will... if I have you and she has us, what is there we cannot accomplish?"
I smiled. "You sound overly confident"
"When have I not?" he muses.
Typical.

"AVYYYYYY!!!!" Sophia roared in tears as she jumped in my arms crying her heart out with snorts coming out her nose. "Where have you been?!"
"Aww Sophia, don’t cry," I said, patting her back gently and she just buried her face in my chest like a child, sniffing deeply.
"Now Sophia, you are not the only baby in here any longer," Elvenia said, coming into view with a smile on her face.
"Elvenia" I smiled.
She bowed. "Welcome back, My lady"
I dropped Sophia who sobbed and rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand and I walked to Elvenia.
"My lad-"
I hugged her tightly before she could say more and she froze at my action, probably caught by surprise.
"I don’t deserve this, my lady... I stood helpless watching the master crumble at the loss of you and did nothing to help"
I shook my head. "That’s not true... you were always by William’s side, even when we were friends you still stuck by him in spite of your feelings"
She froze at my words.
"I don’t have any right to say anything about it... but... thank you Elvenia. you are William’s anchor"
"Ha! Elvenia’s crying!" Sophia blunted.
And Elvenia pulled away from me and turned her back to me. "Of course not! You’re crying too much and you can’t see properly, Sophia!" she growled.
"Meanie!" Sophia pointed.
I smiled.
"My lady..." she began but she didn’t face me. "... You’re the Master’s anchor and not me" she turned and a smile was on her lips. "So please stay for eternity"
I grinned brightly. "As long as we’re all together"

After leaving baby Estel to Elvenia I headed to the library. Elvenia was surprisingly very good with babies and she was a natural, and the smile on her lips as she cradled Estel in her arms melted my heart.
The doors spread open. I stepped into the library like it was just the first time, taking in everything like I was a visitor, it was just as beautiful. But some cracks didn’t go unnoticed and the broken shelves too... cracked walls and floor, I knew where they came from and the memory of Hades made me gulp.
If he wanted to destroy this library he would have and I knew no doubt William would have let him, I didn’t know what to think in that aspect, about William ready to doom the world, I just decided to not dwell in thoughts because I could only imagine how it would have been if Hades price was to destroy the library.
"My lady"
I broke from my thoughts and looked up at Severus giving me the brightest smile.
"Severus!" I said rushing to give him a hug but he quickly created a distance.
"Oh come on Severus, we haven’t seen each other for years"
"I know and I’m glad to see you but I will very much like to keep my head attached to my shoulders"
I rolled my eyes. "What of William?"
"At his office"
"And?"
"There is no need to worry he’s doing alright"
"But..." I sensed it.
"Just... it is not like before you know... cataloging isn’t easy any longer. The master might have sharp senses but he has never experienced such a condition before"
I nodded in understanding.
"But he has you so I know everything will be alright"
Will it? Will I be supportive enough? I have been having my doubts and seeing William have a challenge over something he has done for centuries breaks my heart, won’t I just be a sudden reminder to him of what he had to sacrifice?
"So I will be on my way now, I can’t wait to see Baby Estel!" he was already rushing past me before I could say more.
I have never seen Severus so doting before, they were all entrapped by Estel, even yesterday if she so much as made a cooing sound they would overreact and call her all sorts of sweet names and dote on her like crazy, even me as her mother I felt left out but I wasn’t complaining.
It brings me joy to see them that way.
I continued my walk until I made a turn to William’s office and I was caught in my breath as I saw my husband as majestic as ever seated on his seat like it was his throne itself.
