Chapter 137: Aveline And Aldon {1}
"Your spirit finds its way here, and next your body will too, only a matter of time, my star"
My star?
He took my hand. "You have no idea how long I have waited for you"
I instantly removed my hand from his. "What are you talking about?"
"I understand how you must feel now, but believe me when I tell you everything will come to light"
"Please do not play with my head, I want the truth and only the truth" I was tired of this back and forth, I was tired of all this, the closer I get to William the farther I get, it was feeling I have come to realize and I needed to know why, because it hurts, knowing that I would one day disappear.
Because I feel it, I feel my real body probably in William’s arms slipping away and I need to stop it!
"I have a husband," I began. "And I need to go back to him," I said, tracing the ring on my finger, and the dread that covered my entire body got me shaking.
"A husband," Aldon said and a slight frown found his features but he composed his smile. "The sooner you learn about everything the better, why that world is not meant for you and why HE is not meant for you. Let me show you, everything, Aveline"
I gulped at his words and he stretched his hand out for me.
"Follow me to your truth, you desire it do you not? You desire to know why you’re drifting from him and why you cannot remain beside him, why you were left in the mortal Realm, why you came back here, and why you were mistaken for a Fairy. About your blood and everything, I will show you"
At his words, I took his hand and he gripped it tightly before leading me down the valley, this place was just as beautiful up close. As we walked side by side, the rest of the people looked at us and did something I didn’t expect, they bowed to us. A smile on their lips.
They all had pointy ears so I guess they were all elves.
"This is Aethel, home to the Elven bloodline" Aldon explained along the way and I turned my attention away from the people to him.
"This place was created by our forefathers right after the library came out of existence, it wasn’t just the forest that was created but this place too" he faces me with a smile. "But things don’t just forge out of existence, does it? There must be a creator"
I pondered what he meant by that. I darted my eyes to the view, watching some of the people tend to animals, some singing in circles and their voices were just angelic, little elf children running around as their giggles filled the air, and just as they saw me they ran to me and hugged me. Stunning me.
"Rav res ues rus," a boy said to me in a language. I looked at him in confusion about asking him what he said but suddenly it was like my brain automatically translated it.
They scattered and ran to play.
"Do you know what he said?" Aldon asked me.
"He said ’Greetings to the Queen’," I said with wide eyes. Aldon only nodded and he led us to one of the towers and we both climbed the stairs.
"Long before the library, the Elven Woods, and Aethel, the birth of the Isle of pathways came forth and a girl and boy was born inside it. Yin and Yang"
I suddenly remembered the book William showed me, and then the drawing of a girl standing in the hall of trees. But I didn’t see any boy but suddenly like my brain was trying to speak to me, I remembered I spotted a boy seated on top of the hall of trees but I was too focused on William’s words to look further.
"That girl and the boy is our ancestor, Aveline. She is you and He is me"
We were at the top now, and it looked like a mini forest at the top of the tower, grasses everywhere, but in a circle form around a pool, the water looks milky.
Aldon let go of my hand and started taking off his clothes.
My face heated up. "W-What are you doing?"
"To see the truth we must both be in there and clothes are not needed" he raised an eyebrow.
"I will not strip before you" I frowned and quickly looked away when the last of his clothing fell off.
"We’re connected in more ways than you think, Aveline. You and I have always been together, being naked is not a new thing"
"I don’t remember any of that," I said in a firm tone.
"Fine then. I will leave my pants on and you can leave a little bit of clothing, is that fine by you?" at his suggestion, I heard the water move and I was hesitant before I turned to him.
He was just walking in and I almost breathed a sigh of relief when I was he still had his pants on, but I won’t deny it, he looked perfectly built and attractive, but my body didn’t appeal to it.
He turns to me with a smile on his lips waiting for me.
I cleared my throat. "Turn around" I ordered, I wasn’t about to strip before his eyes, it didn’t feel right, even though I wasn’t completely taking everything off I needed to set some borders.
"Of course" he turned and gave me a view of his broad back, I peeled my eyes away and reached for my gown taking it off in a swift move and it fell like a puddle to my feet, I was wearing a silky short gown beneath and it was oddly transparent, I just told myself, it was better than being naked.
Hugging my frame I stepped into the milky water, thanking it for covering half my body.
"Can I turn now?"
"Y-Yes"
And then he did.
