Scholarships were paid and now they were busy donating school supplies and spreading news of teenagers’ workshops. Pretty soon, the project of letting the teens intern and learn some positivity would be starting.

Diamond was especially worried about the teens. People get easily influenced during teen hood. she was also influenced badly and went astray. Thankfully, it took a hard slap from reality to wake her up.

She was also grateful that she didn’t resort to drugs, otherwise, she would have been finished.

So, she aimed to preach some positivity to these kids, let them have something to do, and let them focus more on it.

Without much to do, people’s thoughts tend to wander and, by doing so, people get curious about what they shouldn’t. and before we know it, they are vagabonds.

She couldn’t let that happen.

So, she urged the teams to work hard on it and make sure they reach out to more kids in the future.

The counseling programs were going pretty well, with more focus on GBV cases.

In the past month, the foundation helped two women with their divorces.

They couldn’t watch a woman getting battered every day just because she was a housewife.

And from the reports, those two women would be joining the foundation soon to start working.

Since they were no longer supported by their husbands, providing them with something to do was the only best choice they had.

Diamond didn’t reprimand the person in charge for doing this without telling her. The foundation needed more people, and as long as the people were willing to work hard and persevere, she didn’t mind their backgrounds.

But if they slack off and take advantage, even if that person is her ancestor, she would kick that person out.

Ruby, her sister, worked like a madwoman when she was at the foundation. So why should she tolerate another woman’s child?

The other issue was regarding the orphanage. The process of buying it was still in progress, and from what she was hearing, it wouldn’t be too long before the orphanage was in the foundation’s hands.

The sooner she gets the orphanage, the sooner she can get it renovated alongside the school.

There was still so much for her to do.

While the school was in her name, the orphanage would be under the foundation. That’s the way it is.

Besides, the foundation solely belonged to her, so it was still her asset.

Not that she aimed to make money through it.

Even if people donate, can that money tempt her to embezzle and even think of making profits with it?

Moving on to the next thing on the agenda, the number of staff which used to be fifty when the year started increased drastically to double, excluding the security guards who made sure that the building was safe from any intrusion.

And from all the heavy loads that she was seeing, more people would still be required in the future, which wouldn’t be a problem.

They shared the difficulties, and problems that they were facing, and all came up with solutions.

They were all one family and when trouble comes knocking at the door, everyone should be ready to face it and come out victorious. She didn’t like losing at all.

"Ma’am, there will be a marathon hosted by the Frin Charity Association in March and we are invited. We haven’t responded yet. are we attending or do we have something planned?"

Diamond didn’t expect to receive another invitation to run again. What was wrong with these people with charity and running?

Don’t they know how to host other events which didn’t require tiring other people out?

It wasn’t like everyone was a good runner. So why make everyone suffer like that?

"When is the marathon?" Diamond didn’t voice out her complaints though, but asked for more information.

"It’s going to be held on the 25th. It will be on a Saturday!" the response came.

When she heard that, her mind couldn’t help but work pretty quickly as she sorted out her schedule.

On the 15th, it was her birthday, and nothing should stop her from celebrating it.

On the 31st, it was her first anniversary with the system and she wanted to celebrate that day. There will be four more years to go, and she didn’t dare skimp on such a wonderful day.

As for the days in between, there wasn’t anything planned yet, so maybe attending that marathon wouldn’t be a bad idea.

"Um, we will go. Everyone shall register. We ought to participate in such events together!"

"Okay, I will note that down. Another thing, we have been thinking of choosing an ambassador. Having someone influential to represent us and become our face would help to spread what we are doing here far and also pull in donations!" the PR head added, feeling nervous as she said that.

When Diamond heard that, she looked at the woman wondering what she was thinking in that head of hers, but still asked out loud, "What were you thinking? You give me your thoughts and I will see if there is something that I can do to help!"

When the lady heard that, her eyes lit up as she looked at Diamond as if she were a hunter who had just seen her prey.

’What the heck is she looking at?’ Diamond trembled upon being gawked at like that.

’It can’t be that ...?’ suddenly she started having a bad premonition.

"Ma’am, instead of searching far, we thought of looking at what is near. There are so many risks in finding influencers or celebrities to represent our brand. Which is why I thought of finding someone that we all know and trust. No matter what happens, the person would never lose face for the foundation!" the lady beamed as she said that.

Diamond, hearing that, wanted to curse the lady out loud. What kind of nonsense was this lady talking about?
