The screams of Ameliana ran virbant in Noah’s ears as he saw the devil standing right in front of him. Though the traces of fear did not existed as he calmly assessed the situation.

It’s not that he was going against the words of his master, but because...

Elios has traced the magic behind Noah.

Right now, the only way that Noah was going to get out of this situation was probably fighting against this guy, or perhaps trying to not fight him for 5 minutes. That’s the amount of time that devil’s could be summoned to this world using the sacrficial technique that the demonkin used.

"This is a bit troubling. But oh well, I guess it’s a bad day for me."(The Devil)

The devil had a bored expression on his face, his eyes barely having any spark in them.

And then...

-Whoosh!

In the next second, he was there, almost holding the neck of Noah apathetically. Or at least that’s what he was trying as Noah ducked, avoiding his grasp.

-Clank!

And a dagger aimed below the devil’s chest, trying to kill him within a single hit.

Alas! The skin of that demon was too hard for the dagger to pierce through.

Ameliana guided.

It all happened within a single second.

Noah wanted to curse out loud at Elios for all the sudden pain he was feeling. Though it was somehow bearable, giving an odd sensation of strength and weakness at the same time.

He felt as if he could tear down mountains within a single strike, and somehow felt like he was as weak as a paper that was placed within embers, almost ready to burn.

"What are-"(The Devil)

-Slash!

A single slash coated with darkness, aimed at the devil’s neck.

-Whoosh!

Though it missed the target.

The slash landed in the air as that devil had once again teleported back at the same place where he was standing before. His eyes looked a bit surprised as he observed Noah almost collapsing in front of him.

"What exactly are you? How can you... have those two energies on you?" (The devil)

"Shut... up..."(Noah)

"Wha-"(the devil)

"I said... SHUT UP!!!"(Noah)

-Whoosh!

Noah dashed, reaching the devil within a single breath, his dagger still aimed at the devil’s chest. And the devil, this time prepared, teleported behind Noah before he tried slashing Noah’s back with his barehands.

Though Noah turned far too fast, and using the dagger coated with darkness, he then used the stronger skill, [Darkness Shaper!], to cut off the devil’s arm away from his body.

This time, Noah was faster than before. More Precise. More Calculative.

Slow enough for the devil to realise that something happened, but too fast for him to react.

"Huh?! What-AAAAAA!!!!!! YOU-AAAAAAAA"(The devil)

As the devil screamed, Noah moved again, this time even faster, pushing himself to the edge of what he was capable of, or perhaps a bit beyond that for a brief moment.

The devil vanished again, before appearing right behind Noah, his hand piercing Noah’s chest.

Despite losing his arm and being gravely injured, the devil was still showing his prowess without any difficulty. As for Noah, his breath was getting heavier. The devil’s other arm was within his body, piercing his heart as he stood there, with his body barely holding together.

A simple upgrade.

And then a desperate one.

Effects:

-Heals the user by 1% everytime the skill is used!(Mana Cost:100MP)

-Automatically heals the user by 10 HP/Second!

-Can completely heal the user from a fatal damage(Cooldown: 24 hours)

-When the user’s health is at 100%, 20% of the additional healing will be converted into MP]

It was something that Elios practiced hard for. He gave all of his time trying to create this spell, both because it was a life saving spell and also because it was a personal spell that he had with him for all these years.

With this Noah could avoid sure death for this time...

But that’s not the only reason why Elios chose this skill...

-The user can alter/erase the effects of curses that are weaker that the skill’s effect!

-The User can use other’s curses and store them for evovling the user’s skill!]

And the new skill that came with it...

Perhaps it was the worst kind of spell that the devil would have come across in his life.
