Once it was decided that there was going to be a wedding, there was no holding back at all.

The invitations were sent the very next day and it created a large stir among the different countries in the racial alliance.

Though it didn't seem like there was any that seemed to disagree with this wedding.

All of the countries sent their congratulations and accepted their invitations as soon as possible.

"You really are driving me like a slave." The prime minister complained to me.

I narrowed my eyes to look at him before saying, "You're the one that created this mess in the first place, so you can't blame anyone but yourself."

Though this was true, the prime minister still said, "You're the one that had to bring up all those different requests. If it wasn't for that, it would be much easier to plan out this wedding."

I didn't argue with him on this since it was the truth.

But I also didn't sympathize with him since it was a fact that he was the one that had helped Rose plan this out in the first place.

After all, it would have been impossible for Rose to have taken care of everything on her own. Even if Rose had a lot of power as the queen, it wasn't at the same level as the prime minister.

There was a reason why there were rumours that the prime minister was actually the dark king while I was the king on the surface.

These rumours actually hit the nail on the head, but it was surprising to hear these rumours in the first place.

I didn't actually do anything to suppress this since I wanted the prime minister to suffer, but it was surprising to see that the prime minister also didn't do anything to stop it. After all, I thought that he would want to draw attention away from himself so he would be able to do more things in secret.

Of course, I kept telling him that if he ever wanted to take over as the king, I would be more than happy to give him the throne.

He had been the fourth prince and the one that everyone thought would take the throne after he had taken care of all the other princes.

"So how many have responded so far and how many are coming?" I changed the topic by asking this.

Before I could make this suggestion, the prime minister suddenly said, "There's no need for that. We have plenty of money from all of the congratulations gifts that they've sent. It's more than enough to cover everything and more."

A bitter smile appeared on my face when I heard this, but there was nothing that I could say.

After all, the ones that were giving the gifts were some of the strongest countries on the entire continent. At the same time, with the status that the Kite Kingdom currently had, it was only natural that they would give these kinds of gifts.

So it wasn't surprising to hear this.

The prime minister continued by saying, "But it means that we'll have to do a bunch more work to prepare for this."

"Blame yourself." I said without any hesitation.

He looked at me with narrowed eyes before saying, "I can't believe that I have to plan such a thing for a brother in law that's marrying other women. I really can't help feeling sorry for my sister."

"Ha, you're the one that suggested this in the first place. Are you really blaming me now?" I said once again without any hesitation.

After all, I knew that he wasn't actually complaining and was just trying to make me feel bad.

The kind of bickering that we did really was the kind of bickering that one might expect from actual brothers.

That was how much the relationship between me and the prime minister had developed.

But during this, there was something that I had to ask as well.

I didn't know how to bring it up at first, but then I decided to just go for it.

"Speaking of weddings, have you thought about your own?"

The prime minister looked at me with wide eyes when he heard this. The way that he looked at me was almost as if he was like a deer that was caught in headlights.

For the normally eloquent prime minister, he really didn't know what to say in response to this.

After a long silence, he finally gave a cough before saying, "I'm too busy to think about that."

"Don't say that. We're all worried about you and it's not as if you're getting any younger. Father in law and Angela have both been worried about how you've avoided this for so long. Father in law also wants to see his grandchild soon."

With another cough, the prime minister said, "Aren't you and my sister going to have a child? That should be enough grandchild for him for now."

"You know what I mean."

The prime minister didn't say anything in response as he looked at me with a complicated look, but in the end he said with a sigh, "I'm working on it, it's just not the right time yet."

I didn't say anything else on this matter as I just simply patted him on the shoulder with an understanding look on my face.
