Chapter 61: Chapter 61
Madeline and Zane were escorted back to the resort after spending a night in the honeymoon bungalow.
They walked side by side, holding hands intimately, while the camera filmed them from the front.
They looked so natural, as both Zane and Madeline were naturally photogenic, so the camera enhanced their beauty.
Madeline and Zane walked to the poolside again, and the rest of the cast members greeted them. Jasmin and Russel were smiling, but the rest had sour faces when they saw Madeline.
"And here are our groom and bride, hihi," Tia giggled as she teased the rest of the cast members. "Are you curious about what happened in the honeymoon bungalow last night? So why don’t we ask them?"
Elly suddenly interrupted before Madeline said anything:
"No, I don’t want to listen to a disgusting story about her. Madeline ’skank’ Rose. You must’ve been begging the whole night for Zane to fuck you, right? A cheap skank like you won’t be able to resist."
Madeline smiled at Elly. She didn’t show any hint of anger despite the provocation. But she leaned on Zane and patted his chest, "Can you resist him, though? If you’re in my position, I’m sure you’d do the same, anyway."
"That—"
"Admit it, Elly," Madeline sneered. "Or are you telling us that you have no interest in sleeping with Zane Eastwood?"
Elly gritted her teeth because Madeline put her in the spotlight. If she said that she would do the same as Madeline, then she was just as shameless as this skank.
But if she said no, then she would offend Zane.
Elly was Zane Eastwood’s biggest fan among the cast members, so she got extremely jealous of Madeline.
But that didn’t mean she would hurt her idol.
Elly did not answer, so Madeline giggled mockingly, "Thought so. Stop trying to call me a skank when you’re just as skank as I am."
"You—!"
"It’s okay, Elly. Don’t get yourself so worked up for a parasite like her," Frankie sneered. "Without Zane’s help, she would be the first one to get eliminated."
"Without Zane, I will beat all of you in that pool volleyball game, and I will eliminate you first, Frankie," Jasmin interrupted.
Frankie was also triggered by Jasmin’s words.
But she was right.
She was a powerhouse, and without Zane as her enemy in the end, she would’ve won and definitely protected her friend, Madeline, from elimination.
"Of course, we would lose against Hulk. She would bulldoze everyone here," Ethan defended his husband.
"And I would bulldoze your skinny twink ass until you turn straight," Jasmin snarled back.
"Oh, shut up, fat bitch. You look like you eat McDonald’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner—"
"And your basic ass face looks easy to draw," Jasmin said.
"Oh, that’s not—"
"Oops—"
Russel burst out laughing, and Madeline curled her lips instantly, trying her best not to laugh.
Ethan’s jaw dropped instantly, and he was silenced.
"Okay, time to stop this fight," Tia interrupted. "We’re here for the first elimination of Summer Heat Lovers! Madeline will have to eliminate one man, and Zane will have to eliminate one woman!"
All the cast members were shocked by the revelation.
"T—That’s unfair..." Bertha said. She wanted to use the ’childhood friend card’ between her and Madeline to save herself, but now that her fate was in Zane’s hands, she wasn’t sure if she could survive.
"No, no, that’s totally fair. I don’t have to beg that skank to be saved," Elly said. She darted her eyes at Zane and was surprised when Zane smiled back at her.
Tia ignored the protests coming from the cast members and said, "Madeline and Zane will stay inside separate rooms, and then each cast member will come one by one. They will have ten minutes to convince Madeline or Zane that they’re worth saving. So buckle up and prepare your charm. This will be your only chance to stay in the show for one million dollars!"
**
Madeline and Zane were separated, and the staff escorted her to a room with a throne in the middle.
Madeline sat on the throne like a queen, facing at least five cameras. She crossed her legs, ready to play the game of elimination.
The staff approached her and said, "The men will come one by one and talk with you for a maximum of ten minutes. Please make it entertaining."
"You can always count on me for that," Madeline giggled. "Now let them in. I can’t wait to see their faces."
The first one to come was none other than Russel. He was smiling at Madeline and stood in front of her.
"So, do you have something to say?" Madeline asked. "I can always eliminate you if I want to."
"Well, I can’t really say much," Russel said, scratching his head. "I don’t have any expectation to win this reality show, and I don’t want to try to warm you up."
"Why not?" Madeline grinned. "You have no interest in me?"
"I mean, you’re gorgeous and all, but you’re not my type," Russel said.
"Because your type is Jasmin, right?" Madeline shot him straight in the heart. "Jasmin is gorgeous, so I can see why you’d love her."
"D—Dude, don’t put me in the spotlight like that!" Russel protested. He was like a high school boy having a crush on a girl.
Madeline had her own assessment of Russel. This man wasn’t exactly the most useful, but he wasn’t dangerous either.
Russel probably wanted to join this reality show for fun or to gain some clout.
But he wasn’t the most popular cast or the most controversial.
He was just... there.
Madeline grinned, "Who knows, maybe I will save you because you like my best friend. But maybe I will eliminate you because you deliver bad jokes."
"M—My jokes aren’t that bad, are they?" Russel asked, unsure of his own ability as a stand-up comedian.
"If you can make Jasmin laugh, then I guess that means you have a good joke," Madeline chuckled before kicking him out. "I have enough to talk with you. You can leave now."
