Su Wanxin clenched her teeth, "Is President Fu here to dig up the past today?"

"You know that car was bought by me for you. And you understand me, you know that in my car, no one besides you can sit in the front seat. There couldn’t be anything from any other woman inside," Fu Shihan spoke sharply as he clutched her hand trying to pull away.

"The last call you received before your accident was from Shen Xiaochen, and after you came back, you’ve always kept an eye on the Shen Family. What do you guess will happen to Shen Wenguang and Shen Xiaochen in the end?"

Every move and every word of Su Wanxin after her return was a clue, a hint to Fu Shihan.

"Have you never thought that the car accident might be unrelated to anyone else, and it was just me?" Su Wanxin asked with a stiff voice. "After all, the human heart is the most unpredictable. What I really think about your Fu Family, you have no way of knowing."

Knock, knock, knock—

Just as Fu Shihan was about to speak, a knocking at the door interrupted him. Both Su Wanxin and he were startled and simultaneously looked towards the door.

"Miss Su, are you resting?"

"What are you doing?" she asked him softly, her face full of panic. Seeing his threatening appearance, she was afraid he would charge over and open the door.

"I want to see who’s looking for you this late."

Fu Shihan glanced at her, and his gaze made Su Wanxin feel inexplicably like she was caught cheating.

Looking at the woman who always seemed to attract attention unwittingly, Fu Shihan frowned.
