Fu Shihan finished speaking, then bowed his head and left tiny marks on her body, only to belatedly realize something.

He suspected that his cold wasn’t really caused by overworking at all but by the damn cold showers he had taken before.

He looked down at the panting, tempting siren underneath him, wishing he could devour her whole, leaving not even her bones.

She pulled at her clothes and looked at his sulking silhouette, completely confused.

Exhausted, irritated, and drowsy, Fu Shihan lay with his back to her for a while before turning around to embrace her and finally falling asleep.

Su Wanxin felt his unnaturally high body temperature, stayed up through the late night, and after his temperature had somewhat subsided, she kissed the corner of his mouth and drifted off to sleep.

"This isn’t really within my department’s scope, why think of having me join you?" Su Wanxin asked suspiciously.

After a moment of thought, Su Wanxin decided it was simply a meal and some idle chat, so she nodded in agreement.
