Chapter 450: Chapter 328 Ship Spirit (Five in One)_5

The man clad in Fourth Generation Prosthetic Armor, seeing his attack miss, suddenly kicked towards Su Ming.

Though Su Ming caught the attack with his eyes, his body simply couldn’t keep up!

Boom!

Like a lingering shadow, the man’s kick landed onto Su Ming’s chest, instantly denting the Exoskeleton Armor. Su Ming was sent flying, breaking two pipes before denting a third.

Spurt!

Su Ming then spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.

He looked in alarm at the man before him wearing Fourth Generation Prosthetic Armor, who was incredibly strong, beyond the range of normal humans.

Su Ming was certain, this man had at least injected a Type III Genetic Potion.

Just as the man was about to charge at Su Ming again, a deep voice echoed.

"Stop!"

Su Ming looked up, only to see two figures emerge from the darkness. The man who had spoken had a burly figure and was covered in sleek black prosthetic armor.

Beside this man stood a woman with a delicate figure, clad entirely in red prosthetic armor.

"Who are you?"

Su Ming looked at the man who had spoken with furrowed brows.

The burly man then retracted the face-covering part of his prosthetic armor.

"Admiral Ferion, sir."

Su Ming said, his expression shifting slightly.

"Major Su Ming, this is a forbidden zone, what are you doing trespassing here?"

Admiral Ferion asked directly.

When Su Ming heard Admiral Ferion’s words, the corners of his mouth twitched slightly. He hadn’t expected that his pursuit had led him into the forbidden zone, so he began to explain.

"Apologies, general. I was chasing an unidentified creature and accidentally followed it here."

Upon hearing Su Ming’s words, Admiral Ferion turned his head to the man who had attacked Su Ming.

But the man shook his head, indicating he hadn’t seen anything.

Su Ming immediately spoke up.

"It’s inside!"

"Enough, Major Su Ming! I’m aware of the situation. We will handle the creature that has intruded, you must leave the forbidden zone at once, your clearance is not sufficient to be here."

Ferion had no intention of letting Su Ming go in to capture it but instead told him to leave quickly.

"Yes."

Su Ming didn’t waste words, promptly turned, and hurried out.

Even though his entrance was unintentional, asking too many questions could easily lead to being mistaken for a spy, at which point escape would be impossible.

However, Su Ming was also puzzled, as the forbidden zone seemed to harbor such formidable masters.

Su Ming was sure that he had never seen the man who had attacked him, nor the woman with Admiral Ferion.

Thinking of this, Su Ming’s curiosity about what was inside the forbidden zone grew.

But Su Ming would not be foolish enough to go back and investigate. He was thankful to Admiral Ferion today else he was sure to face consequences.

Of course, the biggest reason why Admiral Ferion helped him was due to his military rank as a major, which granted him a certain level of clearance.

If he had been a lower-ranking officer or soldier, whether the intrusion was accidental or not, they would have been detained and interrogated first and not so easily let go.

...

Evening.

Su Ming lay in bed, using his memory to search for information on the grey creature.

Before long, he actually found it.

Ship spirit: A Federation first-class protected entity, due to its exceptionally rare numbers, it is a key protected species. Usually only to be found in ships that have withstood the test of time, it is timid, fond of sneaking fruit, and has no combat capability. Its only survival skill is the "Act Cute Skill."

Reading the information, Su Ming let out a sigh.

Had he known it was this creature, he wouldn’t have set a trap, causing himself to needlessly take a kick, leaving his chest still faintly aching.

But what was done was done, and Su Ming didn’t intend to probe further.

He closed the search, and then started to edit a training program outline on his wristband.

Although he had left the training of his subordinates to people like Rhein, he had no intention of being hands-off.

One month was far too short; conventional training methods wouldn’t suffice.

So, Su Ming decided to combine the combat techniques and training methods taught by Mia with his own experiences to design an intensive training regime.

This regime didn’t contain systematic training methods, but was full of various combat moves and defensive techniques.

Moreover, Su Ming needed to ensure these training techniques were applicable to a range of standard weapons.

Time passed by.

In the blink of an eye, it was late at night, and Su Ming, leaning against the headboard, fell asleep, his wristband’s screen still lit, displaying the edited document.

Rustle rustle~

While deeply asleep, Su Ming suddenly heard a noise and jolted awake, turning his head to look at the corner.

His luggage had been opened.

The ship spirit had rummaged through the luggage and dug out a bottle of Eternal Metal.

"Damn it, how did it get in?"

Su Ming’s expression changed and he immediately got off the bed, intending to rush over and stop it.

But the ship spirit darted away, squeezing out through a small ’n’-shaped door at the bottom of the door.

Barefoot, Su Ming ran straight after it.

Sadly, by the time he burst out of his room, not even a shadow was to be seen.

The corners of Su Ming’s mouth twitched slightly, he hadn’t thought he’d be outwitted like this. He took a deep breath, somewhere between anger and laughter, and said,

"Alright, just wait for it."

...

The next morning.

Su Ming ran to the commercial street early, returning home with a bunch of stuff.

He picked up a steel ball that was a bit bigger than a grape, grabbed some purple dye, and began to coat the steel ball.

In no time, several steel balls were painted purple.

Then, Su Ming took up a tool and drilled a tiny hole at the bottom of each steel ball and attached a fine wire.
