Chapter 449: Chapter 328 Ship Spirit (Five in One)_4

Su Ming returned to the house with a bunch of items, leaving the door slightly ajar.

He first washed the grapes he had bought, then picked up a syringe, drew some potent sleeping medication, and began injecting each grape.

Just then, the door was pushed open, and Rhein and the others hurried in.

"Team leader!"

Su Ming looked up at Rhein and spoke.

"You’re here."

Rhein was taken aback. They saw Su Ming injecting the grapes and exchanged glances.

At that moment, Zhang Yi asked quietly.

"Team leader, have you been emotionally hurt recently?"

"Not at all, why would you suddenly say that?"

Su Ming responded naturally.

"Then you’re not planning on using force, are you? That’s not really appropriate, team leader."

Ankaga then spoke up.

"Team leader, the world is full of beauties! Please don’t do anything foolish."

"If you really can’t hold back, consider Allu and the others."

Hamiu blurted out.

"That’s right, we’re also here."

Allu responded cheerfully.

Hearing this, Su Ming’s face darkened, and he replied irritably.

"What are all of you thinking? This is a trap to capture a mysterious creature."

Upon hearing this, Rhein immediately scolded everyone.

"Look at you, all with such filthy thoughts. What kind of person do you think our team leader is? How could he do such a thing? You’re all suspecting him, but see, I never doubted him from the start."

"Rhein, don’t act all high and mighty. Your expression earlier wasn’t any better!"

"Hehe!"

"So, what brings you here?"

Su Ming sighed and asked.

"This is your uniform. Someone brought it to our team, so we brought it over to you."

Rhein picked up two neatly folded major uniforms and handed them to Su Ming.

"Anything else?"

Su Ming took them and asked.

"Well, we came to have drinks with you!"

Mandy and the others cheerfully lifted the food and drinks they had brought.

"Alright then, you go cook. And you, Rhein, go buy some folding tables and chairs. We’ll have dinner in the yard tonight!"

Su Ming agreed readily.

"Alright!"

Rhein and the others happily agreed.

...

The next morning.

Su Ming finished setting up everything, donned his Second Generation Exoskeleton Armor, and left the house, hiding not far from the slightly open door.

An hour, two hours...

Suddenly, the door moved.

Su Ming immediately focused his attention on the now open doorway. It felt as though time had halted.

Then, he barely spotted a gray figure darting out.

Su Ming immediately activated the Exoskeleton Armor’s power assistance and chased after it at full speed.

However, the gray figure was incredibly fast, alternately running and flying, rapidly increasing the distance between them.

But then, the gray figure’s speed suddenly slowed down, its body swaying slightly, no longer flying.

Su Ming quickly realized that the drug was taking effect and sped up to catch it.

Despite that, the gray figure still sprinted swiftly away.

Su Ming pursued relentlessly, dodging pedestrians and shouting.

"Excuse me!"

The people walking hurriedly made way.

"What’s going on with that officer?"

"I’m not sure."

...

Some patrolling soldiers saw this scene and discussed it curiously.

Before long, Su Ming followed the gray figure out of the city, heading towards an abandoned tunnel entrance.

He then rushed into the metal tunnel that was 20 meters high and 10 meters wide, its walls and floor covered in dust, clearly long unmaintained.

Su Ming doggedly pursued the gray figure.

Suddenly, in front of them, a crossroad appeared, and the gray figure quickly turned right.

Su Ming also made the turn.

The unmaintained area, with its complex tunnel network, was like a maze.

The two continued their pursuit inside. If it weren’t for the creature slowing down due to the sleeping medication, Su Ming was sure he would have completely lost it.

Just then, the gray figure finally couldn’t hold on any longer and collapsed onto the metal floor.

Su Ming also stopped and looked carefully.

Now he could finally make out the creature’s appearance: palm-sized, covered with gray fur, small in stature with a head resembling that of a flying squirrel, large round eyes, a fluffy tail, and a pair of gray wings.

Su Ming cautiously approached and reached out to grab it.

Suddenly, the gray creature got up and darted forward with all its might.

Su Ming missed his grab and immediately chased after it at high speed.

The gray creature, desperately flapping its newly aware wings, flew into a tunnel on the right.

Without hesitating, Su Ming followed into the tunnel. He knew the creature was on its last legs.

Inside was a vast network of pipes of various sizes crisscrossing everywhere.

The gray creature flapped its wings desperately, flying onto the intertwined pipes.

Su Ming didn’t hesitate, jumped onto the pipes, and continued the pursuit.

The gray creature hurriedly flapped its wings, flying to another set of pipes, with Su Ming skillfully following with jumps.

The chase continued through the pipe network.

Suddenly, a whooshing sound came from the side, and Su Ming instantly sensed extreme danger, twisting his body to its limits to dodge.

A fierce fist smashed into thin air.

Su Ming looked closely and saw that his attacker was a person fully clad in fourth-generation gray exoskeleton armor, unrecognizable.
