Chapter 370: Chapter 315 Ten Years (Five in One)_5
Monica clapped her hands, and Perry pulled a nearby switch, causing a robotic arm at the top to lift the covering tarp.
A brand-new Third Generation Mecha·Wind Chaser appeared before Su Ming.
When Su Ming saw the Wind Chaser, he couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of his mouth.
Isn’t this Mecha produced by my own company?
Seeing Su Ming stupefied in place, Monica said to him,
"Were you scared? This is the real Third Generation Mecha. You’ve probably only seen them in films, right?"
"Yes, may I take a closer look and touch it?"
"Of course."
"That’s great."
Su Ming hurriedly approached, reaching out to touch the Wind Chaser Mecha, while glancing at the metal nameplate in the hidden part of the Mecha.
He saw that the code on the nameplate had been erased.
Su Ming’s brow furrowed subtly, this Mecha wasn’t produced by the Federation, but by Thunder Group. Moreover, it’s the latest model, guaranteed not to be over five months old.
There were two possibilities now. One was that Thunder Group had a mole, secretly smuggling company Mechas for profit.
If that were the case, it would be very serious, as such smuggling activities would not only damage the company’s interests but also bring hidden dangers. freeweɓnøvel.com
If discovered by the Federation, all of Thunder Group would be in trouble, given that the Federation has very strict control over the export of Third Generation Machines. Currently, only the Federation itself can conduct all exports.
The other possibility was that Thunder Group had a gray market industry. This Mecha was smuggled by the old man to gain high profits.
This possibility was not absent, as the Wind Chaser’s price within the Federation was three hundred million, and it could never be sold for more than this price.
But if it was smuggled out, the price would be much higher, at least double or even triple. There would be buyers.
Because the Neutral Countries out there basically had no means to produce such level weapons, they could only purchase them at a high price from the Federation.
And the Federation’s pricing was usually insanely high, downright exorbitant!
"How do you like it? Do you really like it?" Monica approached Su Ming and said.
"Of course, practically every boy in the world likes Mechas. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to pilot one," Su Ming replied with a sigh.
Monica extended her hand and patted Su Ming on the shoulder, telling him,
"Stick with me! I’ll teach you how to pilot a Mecha."
"Really?" Su Ming responded, looking pleasantly surprised.
"Of course, it’s true."
Monica had a good impression of Su Ming and felt that he had potential talent. If nurtured properly, he would definitely be outstanding.
"Thank you, miss!" Su Ming replied joyfully.
Just then, Artem approached and called out to Monica,
"Miss, everything’s ready!"
"Let’s go!"
Monica immediately led Su Ming and Perry away.
They soon arrived at the front area of the warehouse where they saw dining tables made of iron boxes, topped with braised pork, lamb shanks, roast chicken, and other meat dishes, along with some pickled vegetables. There were also boxes of liquor.
"Everyone, take a seat!"
Monica directly took the seat of honor, followed closely by Perry and the others taking their seats.
Su Ming was seated to the left of Monica, with Artem right beside him on the other side.
Monica twisted open a bottle of liquor, poured a full glass, and raised it enthusiastically,
"This one’s for Su Ming! Welcome our new comrade!"
"Alright!"
Artem and the others raised their glasses.
"Thank you."
Su Ming also raised his glass.
"Cheers!"
Monica led the way by emptying her glass.
Everyone followed suit, downing their drinks, and Su Ming, seeing this, could only gulp his down in one go, his face flushing a bit from the fiery burn of the alcohol.
"Ha-ha, that’s just one glass, you’re not already out, are you?" Artem laughed heartily.
"I rarely drink, so I’m not very good at it," Su Ming admitted, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"You look like you haven’t been mixing it up in the world for long. If your alcohol tolerance is poor, you need to practice more. That’s how you make it big and earn big money!" Artem chortled.
At that moment, Perry chimed in jestingly,
"You’re so handsome, with such tender skin; what are you doing driving a black cab? How much could you earn from that? You’d make a killing as a gigolo for sure!"
"Yeah, and not just the rich ladies getting confused; you’ve got us all dazzled too!"
Instantly, laughter erupted amongst the group.
Su Ming felt the corners of his mouth twitch at this comment.
Monica then picked up her chopsticks and tapped the table, reprimanding her comrades without much enthusiasm,
"Settle down, don’t scare him off."
"Hey, big sis! We’re just joking around with him, right?" Artem and the others replied, still smiling.
"Joke all you want, but he’s one of our brothers now, so look after him!"
"Understood!"
"And keep a sharp eye out recently. Those guys from the Ghost Shadow Sect definitely won’t let things lie," Monica said seriously, reminding everyone.
Hearing this, Artem and the others sobered up, their expressions becoming stern as they spoke,
"Understood. But, big sis, there’s a problem."
"Speak!" Monica responded gravely.
Su Ming perked up his ears to listen as they began discussing serious matters.
"Those bastards from the Ghost Shadow Sect have been doing too well recently, their strength keeps growing! I’ve just got some insider info, they’ve somehow gotten their hands on a lot of Third Generation Mechas!"
Artem spoke with a headache.
"No way? How have they managed to grow so fast, does someone have their back?"
