Chapter 94: 92 | Enough is Enough
"Oops," said an unapologetic male voice.
That was after Adonis had purposely thrown Blue’s phone into the sea. It could be said that it was on purpose as he had literally taken Blue’s phone off his hand while Blue was making a phone call, then used all his might to throw the phone into the sea.
To understand why such a thing was happening, the matter would have to be traced back to that morning.

"Ooohh. This scene is going to be a tough one." Blue said to Ken after taking off his shoes and stepping onto the beach’s cold sand.
The sky was dark and other than the cast and crew, there was no one else on the beach. The two lead roles of, ’Guide to Living as an Omega’, were going to play out an important scene from the book.
The reason why Blue regarded this scene as important was because this was the part that he had edited after sending the book to his editor for publishing. This was the part that he had to recreate and force himself not to be selfish with the lives of his characters.
The main character, Summer, who was being played by Adonis, was going to face a very serious issue in his life in this scene—sexual assault.
Sexual assault was something that 99%—if not 100%—of Omegas have experienced. No matter if they were born with a golden spoon in their mouth or if they lived on the streets.
It wasn’t far-fetched for Blue to conclude such a thing. As an Omega, sexual assault existed in many forms. It was an assault to force Alpha pheromones on an Omega to do something. It was an assault to simply release pheromones when standing next to an Omega without permission.
Omegas were highly sensitive to any kind of Alpha pheromones. Releasing pheromones in front of an Omega without permission could literally be equated to pouring fuel to a small fire to burn down an entire forest.
In this particular scene the cast was going to play out, Summer, who was now a full-fledged Omega, after being experimented on by cruel scientists, was going to be forced into submission by his Alpha friend, Willow.
The character, Willow, was also played by a male Alpha, River Stockton. Blue had a neutral relationship with the guy. In fact, Blue believed that he had a neutral relationship with everyone he worked with.
It was only Adonis who troubled him. Adonis had been busy all morning and hadn’t had time to look for his trouble; Blue was thankful to the heavens for that.
However, now, he had to talk to Adonis about the scene he was going to play and emphasize its importance. Adonis was not an Omega, so he probably wouldn’t understand the scene as much as an average Omega would.
Blue was even happy that Adonis wasn’t even an Omega. He would have never gotten an Omega to play such a role. It was... horrible.
Adonis was in his makeup trailer getting ready the time Blue came looking for him.
"Ahh, Boss’s Boss. You’re here." There was a smug smile on Adonis’s face as he acknowledged Blue.
Blue scowled at him, then invited himself into the trailer. Adonis sent away the artists who had been working on his face. Before the two people left, they threw Blue a suspicious look which he did not notice.
"I never thought I’d see the day that you would come searching for me." Adonis was sitting on a swivel chair, granting him the opportunity to slowly rotate as he spoke.
"I need to talk to you about the script," Blue said, pulling a chair and settling down across from Adonis.
Adonis raised a brow in curiosity.
Blue began to explain how complex the scene was and how his acting should deviate from the norm to evoke the proper emotions. Adonis listened to all of this without saying a word.
Once Blue was finished, he believed that Adonis understood him, so he stood up from his chair to leave. Blue had only taken a step when Adonis grabbed his wrist and pulled him down.
Blue had to grab onto Adonis’s shoulders to prevent himself from the landing on the guy’s thighs.
"What the fuck?" Blue asked sharply, ripping his wrist from Adonis’s grip.
Adonis raised both of his hands in surrender and said, "I wanted to tell you something, but I seem to have forgotten what it is."
Blue was livid.
He looked at Adonis with a hateful glare, not even hiding his contempt for the Alpha. Only after accepting that he couldn’t be violent with him did Blue sigh and turn around, walking out the trailer.
Blue was at the door when he heard Adonis say, "You look really nice today."
Blue didn’t turn back to look at Adonis after hearing that. He only scowled and continued to go his way. While walking, Blue kept on rubbing his wrist as Adonis had really held it tight even though it wasn’t for long.
Blue guessed that the area would turn another color by sunrise, and he managed to find himself even more annoyed.
A few minutes passed and the shooting of the scene began.
"Cut the cameras!" Ken called out a minute into the scene, then asked Adonis and River to start again.
"Cut it!"
"Cut!"
"Cut!"
"Cut!"
"Cut!"
Blue heard the word, ’cut’, more than the actual lines of the actors during thirty minutes. The scene was a tough one. They would have to start off with a serious argument by the beach which would lead to ’Willow’ trying to control ’Summer’ by using his pheromones.
’Summer’ would try to save himself by running towards the beach and into the water. However, his feet would get tangled up with seaweeds and he would almost drown to death.
Adonis kept on NGing on the part where he would run off to the water. River’s expression watching Adonis run was not depicting the right emotion.
Basically, the two of them were failing to interpret the scene.
"Five minute break!" Ken finally called out, then he beckoned the two actors to come over to him.
During that time, Blue’s phone started to ring. He sighed and pulled it out, then read the Caller’s ID to be ’Annoying Guy’ with three hearts.
A smile unconsciously made its way to Blue’s lips as he excused himself and walked closer to the water to speak to Winter. He turned on the flashlight of his phone before placing it against his ear.
"Hello."
"Where are you?"
Blue and Winter spoke at the same time respectively. Blue’s smile crumbled up after hearing Winter’s question.
"I’m at the beach. We’re still shooting." Blue found himself diligently answering Winter’s question despite the urge he had to respond to it with a question of his own.
"You said you’d be home early today." Winter said from the other end of the phone.
It had been less than a week since their fight when they had both agreed not to fight anymore. Yet, Blue already had the sense that their agreement was not going to hold up today.
"I said I’d be home early if things went smoothly today." Blue clarified.
"No. You did not say that. If you did, I wouldn’t have—"
"You wouldn’t have what?" Blue questioned after Winter cut himself off. Winter sighed before speaking again.
"So, when are you going to get back now?" Winter asked with a calm voice.
"I don’t—"
Blue’s phone was ripped from his grasp and before he could understand what was going on, he heard the sound of a distant splash.
"Oops." Blue heard someone say.
He turned around and saw Adonis. Blue’s brain was still trying to understand what had just happened.
"Did you just throw my phone into the water?" Blue asked slowly.
There was a feigned apologetic look on Adonis’s face as he said, "Fuck, that was your phone?? I thought it was a flashlight. Sorry."
Blue heard the countdown of his patience running out before he exploded.
"Are you insane?? Why would you think it was a flashlight? And even if it was, why would you throw it into the sea? How fucking dare you!?" Blue yelled at Adonis without holding back.
The sound of his voice had alerted the other people on the beach to focus their attention on the two of them.
"What are you getting so mad for? It’s just a phone." Adonis justified himself with a shrug and an eye-roll.
"A phone that did not belong to you! I’ve put up with your annoying antics for a while now, but this is it! Enough is enough! I’m fucking tired of you. Why would you throw it? Why did you!?! What kind of joke or play or prank was that?!" Blue yelled.
"Can you stop yelling at me? I just wanted to make you laugh and you’re acting like I committed some grave sin." Adonis spoke casually.
"Make me laugh? How would throwing away my belongings make me laugh?" Blue questioned.
"Chill—ouch!"
Blue cut Adonis’s nonsense words with a punch to his mouth. That was when everyone decided to react fiercely as they marched forward to drag Blue away from Adonis.
However, as Blue said, ’enough is enough’. And he was tired of Adonis. So he couldn’t stop himself from showing just how tired of Adonis he was.
