Chapter 59: 57 | Stolen my Heart

Blue was caught before his jaw kissed the floor. And not surprisingly, it was Winter who caught him as he had just been walking into Dot’s Café the same time Blue decided to leave it.

"Are you okay?" Winter asked Blue, trying to steady him up.

However, Winter’s hand was slapped by Blue as Blue raised walls against him and said, "I’m fine."

One would think that Blue regarded Winter as his greatest enemy judging by the tone and the hostile manner Blue was using on Winter.

Winter was also surprised by this development. Even though they hadn’t talked in the past few days after what happened between them, he didn’t think that Blue would react this way to him.

He has been texting Blue constantly and trying to talk to him, but Blue ignored all of his messages and busied all of his calls. If anyone was to be angry between the two of them, Winter believed that it was supposed to be him.

"I’ve been trying to text and call you but you haven’t been responding. What’s up with that?" Winter came down from his high horse and decided to grab the matter by its neck now that he was standing in front of Blue.

Better that he was even blocking the door and restricting Blue from leaving the café. And with the combo of the Ice King and the Sunshine Prince standing together, everyone wanted to get a piece of what was going on.

Most especially Adam and Oliver who had noticed that Blue hadn’t left the café yet. They acted under curiosity and walked up to Blue to confront him for his previous actions.

That was when they heard Blue say, "Why should I respond to your texts? Who do you think you are? My husband, or something?"

Oliver and Adam had no choice but to halt in their movements, both confused by the exchange between Blue and Winter.

"What if I want to be?" Winter countered.

The people seated close by had already drawn out their phones to record and blog about what their eyes were seeing.

Blue didn’t know whether to be angry or embarrassed by Winter’s words.

"I can’t deal with this right now." Blue said with a hurried tone with his hand at the back of his neck, scratching the area in the most subtle manner.

Then he took a side step to work his way around Winter. However, Winter grabbed the hand that Blue was using to scratch his neck, revealing his glands that were not covered with pheromone blockers as his turtleneck collar was rolled down.

Blue’s nape was slightly swollen. Below and around it were hickeys. Blue and Winter hadn’t noticed this development yet. However, everyone else had.

Adam first turned to stare at Oliver. Oliver shook his head negatively, the meaning clear—he wasn’t the one who gave those marks to Blue. The only other person whom Blue could be seen around with was Winter. And Winter was an Alpha.

Adam almost collapsed at the sudden stream of unbelievable information that he had drawn out. It was the same case for anyone else whose eyes were sharp enough to notice the hickeys around Blue’s neck, and who were smart enough to put two and two together.

"What are you doing? Let go of me." Blue demanded, trying to rip his hand from Winter’s grip as he could already sense the subtle scent of his pheromones leaking.

At that moment, Winter could also sense Blue’s pheromones in the air. But Winter wasn’t sure if it was a mistake or if Blue was trying to send some kind of message to him by releasing his pheromones.

"We need to talk about what happened." Winter said, refusing to let Blue go and ignoring the fact that Blue’s pheromones were filling the air gradually.

"I’m not talking to you about anything! Let me go!" Blue suddenly raised his voice, feeling overwhelmed by everything that was happening inside his body.

Winter’s hand on him burned. His body was desperately looking for a way to explode at the contact. His neck was itching him from the inside and Blue was tempted to rip his glands off with his own hands because of the sharp pain and discomfort there.

"Blue, are those your..." Adam started to say something but his words were drowned by Winter’s loud voice as the latter said:

"No! I won’t leave you alone! You’ve stolen my heart!"

Everyone immediately thought that Blue was a thief after hearing the word, ’stolen’ from Winter’s mouth. It took a second for the words, ’my heart’ to register in their heads.

The next thought they all had was, ’The heart Winter is talking about, maybe it’s some kind of jewelry and not his real heart, right?’

Like Winter hadn’t done enough damage yet, he added the words, "Please, allow me to chase you. Give me a chance."

It wasn’t clear whether Winter was just going for a drama at this time because his words just kept on getting more and more outrageous.

And as for Blue, he was the most outraged by Winter’s words. Stolen his heart? Giving him a chance? Blue was fuming with anger. His pheromones spread out at full force, everyone in the café could now sense that there was an Omega who seemed to be in ’heat’ in their midst.

It was only Adam—other than Winter—who could tell that the pheromones were leaking from Blue. He had guessed it before, but now, he was absolutely sure.

He reached to touch Blue, seeing that the guy’s cheeks were flushed and he was standing in an imbalanced manner. His struggles against Winter had reduced drastically and he was only trying to keep himself standing at this point.

However, before Adam could reach Blue, Winter opened his mouth once again to spew nonsense.

"I’m truly mesmerized by you and I wish you- arghhhh!"

Winter received a kick to the place where the sun doesn’t shine by Blue, causing him to groan out loud in pain and squeeze his legs shut.

He had let go of Blue’s hand in the process, giving Blue the opportunity to run away. But before Blue left the café, he said to Winter with a tone that was mixed with disappointment, anger, regret, and something indecipherable:

"Fuck you."
