Chapter 49: 47 | Depraved Desires

When Blue finally returned to the Kent house, he realized that Atlas had been waiting for him the entire night.

"Do you know how worried we all were? You suddenly disappeared and I couldn’t track—" Atlas stopped himself from completing his sentence.

Blue scoffed and said, "What? You couldn’t track me anymore, huh? Big whoop."

That was because Blue had thrown his phone into the water when he got to Winter’s beach house, knowing that his family could use it to track him. Besides, he had also been planning on getting a new phone. It was the perfect excuse.

"It’s not safe for you to be out on your own. We’re your family. We worry about you when we don’t know where you are after walking out on us." Atlas said, trying to play the role of a concerned sibling, but all Blue could hear from his mouth was, ’blah, blah, blah.’

"I’d like to remind you of something—just because we share blood relations doesn’t mean that you have any right to be involved in my business." Blue said with a stern tone.

Atlas humphed, "Your business? Are you serious?? You walk out on our ill father and come back smelling like some Alpha from heaven knows where. Blue, what is wrong with you!? You weren’t like this before."

After hearing the words, ’smelling like some Alpha...’, Blue zoned out as the memories from last night surfaced in his head. He and Winter, Winter and him, the two of them...

Blue almost exploded. His cheeks turned red and lecherous thoughts filled his mind.

’What is wrong with me?! How could I have done such a thing?’ Blue was fully immersed in his own thoughts, not hearing the lecture that Atlas was actively giving to him.

Blue couldn’t believe he had done such things under the influence of alcohol. He had a very high alcohol tolerance, meaning that everything he had done last night was not from a place of intoxication, but from his own depraved desires.

He had long since wanted his blond imaginary man to touch him and do things to him. Since his blond imaginary man was Winter and Winter had been the one to do things to him, how could he complain??

Blue hated that he couldn’t put the blame for his actions on Winter alone. He had also been the one to give Winter multiple go-aheads. Oh, gosh.

How was he going to find his way out of this situation now?

"... You also shouldn’t try to do such things without protection and—"

"We’re done here, right?" Blue said, tuning back into Atlas’s meaningless lecture.

Atlas opened and closed his mouth, shocked that Blue hadn’t even bothered to listen to any of his words. He was about to tell Blue that they were not in any way ’done’, but Blue had already turned around and began to make his way to his room.

Atlas called out for Blue multiple times but the latter didn’t so much as glance back as he pretended not to hear the former at all.

When Blue got to his room, he ensured to slam the door shut loudly and lock in from the inside. Then he walked over to his bed and collapsed on top of it.

"What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?" Blue questioned himself repeatedly, unsure of what to do next.

Blue couldn’t remember the last time he had done damage control after a semi-one-night stand. He had forgotten all the rules and regulations to follow after dry-humping multiple times with someone whom he swore to himself never to get sexually involved with.

The worst part of it all was that he couldn’t hide away from Winter forever. Somehow, the guy had managed to wiggle his way into Blue’s small friend group.

That meant that Winter would be showing up everywhere he went. The reasonable thing Blue could do now was talk to Winter and sort things out. But how could he do that?

What was there to sort out?! They both did stuff and they both clearly liked the stuff they did. Normally, the next step was to agree to do more stuff together since they liked the stuff they did together.

But there was a big barrier standing in front of that next step.

WINTER WAS AN ALPHA.

He had the Alpha genes. And the extremely dominant type. Winter had pheromones that could force Blue to submit if he wanted to. He had pheromones that could influence Blue’s state of mind and render him useless.

He had the capability to bite Blue and bound him forever, thus destroying Blue’s future. As an Alpha, there were so many things that mark Winter down in Blue’s eyes.

However, Winter has had two opportunities to do any of the things that Blue had previously listed, but he hadn’t done them. He had promised and reassured Blue that he would never take advantage of him.

But there was still a chance of him doing so. And there would always be a chance. Just because Winter didn’t force his pheromones on him the first two times he got the opportunity didn’t mean that he wouldn’t do it if he got a third opportunity.

That was the thing with Alphas. There was never any certainty to their loyalty.

Blue covered his face with his hands as several clashing thoughts ran through his mind.

His logical side was telling him to shirk off responsibility, cut ties with Winter, and distance himself from Winter for good.

His lustful side wanted him to have another go with Winter to confirm if he was worth it or not.

His lonely side wanted him to accept what was going on with Winter and see how far it would take him.

His weak side just wanted to remain in his room like this and never face reality.

Each of his sides were making sense, and Blue couldn’t decide which of them to pick.

However, after receiving a knock on his door, everything suddenly smoothed out.
