Shades of Blue (Omegaverse BL) -
Chapter 162: Extra Shorts
Chapter 162: Extra Shorts
Part 1:
"How was that?" Winter asked Blue with a rough voice, their bodies still sinfully entangled.
"Hah... it was okay," Blue sounded breathless. With Winter’s mouth still heating up the back of his neck and their lower bodies refusing to separate, Blue felt an ecstasy that couldn’t be described with words.
"Are you sure?" Winter asked hesitantly, turning Blue around and fixing him in a straddle position.
Blue couldn’t even sit upright and had to collapse against Winter’s chest.
The two of them had just completed a permanent marking—something that Blue thought he would never do in his entire life. He was wrong, completely wrong.
What was the point of deceiving himself that he didn’t need Winter when he knew deep down that without Winter in his life, everything else had no meaning?
So Blue had finally come off his high horse to receive a permanent mark from Winter a month after their wedding and two months before his due date.
"Hmm..." Blue responded lazily, nuzzling against Winter’s neck.
He’d once read that after a permanent mark, an omega would be more heavily inclined towards their alpha and unlock a new door of clinginess. Blue never thought he’d actually be like that, but now, all he wanted to do was hold onto Winter tightly and never let him go.
"Look at how you’re rubbing yourself against me, you’re so cute," Winter whispered with a mischievous tone, both hands grabbing onto Blue’s ass cheeks.
"Ah! Stop that," Blue said coquettishly, his head still buried against the hollow of Winter’s neck.
Winter kneaded the soft flesh in his palms, saying, "Stop what?"
Blue lifted his head and looked at Winter through his lashes, "Pervert. You’re so annoying."
Winter let out a chuckle. "Only for you, Blue. Only for you."

Part 2:
"Why’s his skin so pink? Get him to open his eyes. He looks like an alien," Winter remarked casually, looking at the tiny creature in Blue’s arms.
"Winter, did you just call our child an alien?" Blue asked with a serious tone.
Winter’s eyes widened in realization. He shook his head repeatedly and blurted out, "No, I didn’t!"
If Blue had the strength, he would have grabbed a shoe and used it to hit Winter on the head. After spending so much time in labor, not to talk of the months of having to live with a human inside him, Blue was more than exhausted.
The little baby in his arms was not even two days old and was already being bullied by Winter. Blue felt sorry for his kid. The boy was a little pink and round all over, but he was still a baby. Not all newborns looked like angels immediately after birth.
"Don’t listen to him, okay? He’s just an idiot," Blue said to the baby, smiling at him as he grabbed a finger to fiddle with.
Winter stood by the side, his mouth hanging open. "You promised you wouldn’t bad mouth me in front of the kid!" Winter accused Blue, remembering something Blue must have said in passing once.
"Tsk. It’s not like I’m telling a lie," Blue rolled his eyes at Winter, playing with his baby’s hand.
And in that moment, the little boy let out a sound akin to a chuckle, his mouth drawing to a toothless smile. Both Winter and Blue’s heart melted at the sight.
This little toothless pink ball was their child. A piece of both of their lives. They suddenly couldn’t remember how life had been without the child. Blue and Winter glanced at each other without saying anything, but they had the same thought in their mind:
’We have to protect this child from the world no matter the cost.’

Part 3:
It was hours past midnight. Blue stepped into the house with heavy eye bags and a sullen face. Even if the steady steps he took as he walked deeper into the house didn’t reveal that anything was amiss, his gloomy facial expression showed that he was way beyond exhausted.
All he wanted to do was get in bed and sleep for a week straight. However, as he ascended the flight of stairs leading to his and Winter’s shared bedroom, he heard chattering.
Blue’s eyes narrowed. He clearly remembered talking to Winter three hours ago on the phone and telling him to put Austin to bed and go to bed himself. Winter has assured him he’d do so after terminating the call.
’Maybe it’s just the TV,’ Blue tried to convince himself as he continued marching upwards. ’I trust Winter. He’s not stupid. He listens to me, doesn’t–’
Blue’s thought didn’t reach completion as he tried to recall any instance of him instructing Winter to do something and Winter actually did as instructed. Blue couldn’t remember a single instance like that.
In a split second, he increased his pace and reached the top of the stairs. Without any alarm, he marched straight towards his room and noticed that the door was ajar. The lights were switched off but the chattering was clearly coming from inside.
Blue kicked the door open in anger.
"Ahhhhh!!"
"It’s the ghost!!" Two voices screamed simultaneously from the bed.
"Winter! Austin! Get up now!" Blue exclaimed, incredibly pissed off.
"It knows our names! Hide!" A young masculine voice said with a frightful tone.
The kid had covered both himself and Winter with a blanket and hoped for ’the ghost’ to go away. Blue didn’t know whether to laugh or to be angry.
He glanced at the TV and realized that they were both watching a movie. A horror movie which he had clearly banned Austin from seeing and banned Winter from allowing Austin to see it.
Blue grew even more furious at this time.
He turned on the lights and stomped towards the bed, yanking the blanket away and flinging it across the room. Now bare without the covers, the two people resigned to their fates and looked up.
What they saw wasn’t a ghost. It was much scarier.
Two minutes later, both Winter and Austin were on their knees ’apologizing’ to Blue.
"Dad, I’m really sorry. But it’s not my fault. Father told me we could watch it since you weren’t around!" Austin, being too cunning for his young age, threw Winter under the bus to save himself.
"Me!?" Winter exclaimed, surprised at the betrayal. "You were the one who said we could watch it and called me a chicken for being afraid to break your dad’s rules!"
"I never did such a thing!" Austin denied without hesitation. "It was you who went about saying that you were the man of the house and could do whatever you want."
"Impossible! I would never say such a thing! We all know my lovely wife is the one who–"
"Enough! Both of you!" Blue cut Winter off, an ache forming behind his eyes. "Both of you are just a pair of troublemakers."
Austin and Winter opened their mouths to defend themselves but Blue spoke before they could.
"I don’t want to hear it. I don’t care who convinced who. All I know is that I told my husband not to let my 10-year-old child watch a horror movie and came back home to see that they were both watching exactly what I told them not to. The two of you are going to get equally punished for disobeying my orders."
Something like a cruel smirk made its way to Blue’s lips at the end of his sentence. That was when Winter and Austin knew that they were truly done for.
The one true ruler of the house was going to unleash his wrath upon them and they couldn’t escape it as Blue had become immune to both of their crying and fake apologies over the years.
They really should have hidden properly from Blue when they had the chance.
THE END.
