Chapter 132 - 130 | Congratulations

Chapter 132: 130 | Congratulations

Blue had to view the full message to see who the sender was. Blue’s eyes widened as he read the sender’s ID to be Oliver.

Then the full message read:

[Congratulations.

When the baby comes out, you can name him Oliver Junior.]

Blue’s stomach coiled with discomfort. The relationship between himself and Oliver died a long time ago.

While they were still in Chestfield, Oliver had gotten a girlfriend and kept it away from him. Blue had felt bad because they were benefit partners at that time.

Oliver had just decided on his own to drop Blue. Blue wasn’t upset because Oliver got a girlfriend. He was upset because the guy wouldn’t have taken the initiative to tell him if Adam wasn’t bridged between the two of them.

After that happened, Blue kept his communication with Oliver to the extreme minimum. And soon after, they stopped communicating entirely. The only interaction they occasionally shared was liking each other’s posts on social media. Nothing else.

This was the very reason why Blue found it surprising that Oliver knew about his pregnancy. And had even texted him about it.

"How does he know?" Blue asked himself.

Just the way his own brothers knew. Who was stupid enough to spill to the entire world that he was... Winter.

Blue’s face fell.

"Of course, he’s the one," Blue facepalmed himself as he plopped down on his bed.

He delayed responding to Oliver’s text and went straight to Winter’s page. Winter’s followers had increased by tens of thousands, Blue realized before even checking his post.

Lo and behold! The most recent post on his page was from last night. And it was him!

Blue was sleeping. His face was not too visible in the picture. Winter’s hand was placed on his stomach in a meaningful manner. Like it wasn’t enough, he captioned the post, ’I can’t wait to be a father.’

Then came the unreasonable hashtags!

[#babydaddy #mywife #baby #we’rehavingababy #fathergoals #winterjunior #inlove]

Blue didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as he opened the comment section.

[They’re still together??]

[Winter, are you sure that baby’s yours?]

[Woah. I never imagined someone like Blue having a baby. Wouldn’t that be chaotic?]

[Congratulations!!!]

[I’m so happy for Winter. He’s going to be a father!]

[I bet the child isn’t really Winter’s and that Blue just pinned the responsibility on him.]

[Am I the only one who’s noticed how beautiful Blue is? Even if his face is a bit blurry, he looks like an angel asleep.]

[Upstairs, Blue has always been beautiful. Everyone knows this. It’s his personality that’s ugly.]

[The amount of questions this image raises...]

[I don’t know about y’all, but I’m kinda happy for them. Imagine still being together after such a scandal and now having a baby. They must really love each other. I wouldn’t even stay with a partner whom I find suspicious. Winter and Blue must really trust each other enough to want to start a family together. That’s all that actually matters.]

Blue stopped going through the comments, realizing that there was no need to care about other people’s opinions on his life.

And as he left Winter’s page, the urge to strangle Winter surged inside him. Gosh! That guy was of a different breed entirely. This was exactly what he did when they began dating years ago—broadcasting their relationship to the entire world.

Even though Blue hadn’t necessarily said that he wanted to keep things private, Winter should know. And yet, whenever something happened, he was always the first to go blabbing to the world about it.

In a fit of exaggerated anger, Blue dialed Winter’s number. Winter didn’t pick the call, but his line was ringing. Blue tried to call him three more times and was met with failure each time.

"Ugh! That bastard!" Blue complained, flinging his phone to the side as he stood up from the bed.

As if the entire universe was against him, he heard the sound of loud knocking coming from his front door.

Blue was so annoyed that he marched from his room to the living room. The boxes in the living room that were on his path found themselves being kicked away without restraint.

Blue reached the door and forgot to look through the peephole before he swung it open in one go.

"Blue,"

"You!"

The two people spoke at the same time. Winter was standing on the other side with a smile on his face while Blue looked like he wanted to kill someone.

"Hey, what’s up? I saw your calls but didn’t answer because I was already inside the building." Winter invited himself into the apartment, placing his hand against the door and widening it.

Blue stood and watched as Winter stepped into his house and shut the door behind him. He was staring at Winter’s back, calculating which part would be the best to land a kick or a punch on.

"Why did you post that picture?" Blue asked Winter, deciding to use his words first before his fists.

Winter turned around to look at Blue, a confused expression setting on his face.

"What picture?" Winter was completely oblivious to the picture Blue was referring to.

He posted a thousand different things each day in each of his social media accounts. He couldn’t even keep up with the content sometimes.

"Now, because of you, probably everyone in the entire damn world knows that I’m pregnant!" Blue said sharply.

Winter’s eyes widened in realization before he shrugged and said, "It’s not a big deal. Everyone should know that my baby has a baby."

He was already walking over to engulf Blue in a hug as he spoke with a smooth tone. Blue flicked his head and side stepped him to say, "Why do you never ask for my permission before doing things that involve me?"

His previous anger had transitioned into annoyance, and from annoyance to frustration.

Winter very well knew that no one liked him. Yet, he always made him the main attraction to everything, which always resulted in him getting backlash from people he didn’t even know.

It was almost as if Winter was purposely using Blue’s bad reputation to make himself look good and loved. Blue had once thought that Winter was only with him to enhance his shine, but discarded the idea because Winter wouldn’t care that much about his reputation, would he?

But in the deepest part of his heart, Blue always feared that Winter actually cared that much about the way people perceived him.

"I’m sorry. I didn’t know you wouldn’t like it. I didn’t think that far." Winter apologized immediately, not even defending himself and starting up what he wouldn’t be able to finish.

Now that Winter apologized, Blue felt bad. He didn’t ask for an apology. He just wanted to know why.

"I just wanted to share my joy. Share you. Because I’m proud of you. I’m happy to be with you. So sometimes when I post all sorts of things about you, it’s because I can’t stop myself from showing you off." Winter spoke with a loving tone, wrapping his arms around Blue’s waist and placing his head on top of Blue’s shoulder.

Blue rolled his eyes at this, ignoring the fluttering butterflies in his stomach.

"Next time, ask me first. And know that I’m going to give you a negative response when you ask." Blue said, trying to push Winter away from sticking to him so closely, but Winter didn’t budge.

"Hmmm," Winter replied, sounding like Blue’s words left his ears as soon as they arrived.

"Winter... let go!" Blue exclaimed, realizing that Winter’s hands on his waist had begun to lurk dangerous areas.

He struggled to free himself, dragging his legs. Blue ended up almost tripping on one of the boxes splayed out on the floor. That was when Winter let go of him to check out what almost led his love to an accident.

For the first time since arriving at Blue’s house, Winter noticed the many boxes.

His brows creased as he asked, "What’s all this?"

Blue began to kick the gifts to one side of the house as he replied, "Gifts. For the baby."

"Huh??"

"The Kent brothers dropped by with them. Something about wanting to be there for me and the baby. I don’t know. I don’t even remember," Blue spoke with a disinterested tone without looking at Winter.

"They got this many things?" Winter’s eyes darted around the place and landed on the broken feeding bottle that occupied a small space on the floor.

He walked towards it and picked it up from the floor. Noticing the crack on the bottle as he examined it, he could already deduce what happened to it.

"Kinda nice of them," Winter said without thinking.

Blue stopped kicking the boxes, silence reigning in the room.

"What’s nice?" he asked.

Winter, whose attention was fixed on the bottle in his hands, didn’t notice the hateful look that was in Blue’s eyes as he stared at him.

"This. Looks expensive. And they bought so many boxes." Winter lifted his head, just in time to see Blue glaring at him.

"So what?"
