Chapter 130: 128 | Writing is Hard

Blue had an epiphany while puking out his guts into the toilet. It seemed like these days he wasn’t just dealing with morning sickness. There was also afternoon sickness, evening sickness, and middle of the fucking night sickness.

Blue breathed out through his mouth as he flushed the toilet and stood up from the floor to wash his mouth. While puking, he’d suddenly thought of a story idea for the new book he was writing.

Everything was still in the planning phase, but he’d decided for now that the story would be centered around a beta. A female one.

It would be his first time writing about someone of that gender which was really different from his norm.

Blue walked into his room and collapsed on the bed.

"Writing is hard..." he said to no one but himself.

His hand unconsciously moved to his stomach. He lifted his shirt up to look at his belly. Now three months pregnant, a small bump had begun to show on his stomach. And oddly enough, with all the throwing up, he was still managing to add little weight.

"You’re so small..." Blue said to his baby.

These days, Blue had been very active in the social media world. Always watching videos of little kids and pregnant omegas. At three months, their bellies were already growing a little big and being noticeable through their clothes.

As for Blue, if he didn’t lift his shirt up, no one would know that he was pregnant. He didn’t even act like a pregnant omega, still having the strength to walk from place to place effortlessly.

And still able to go on long nights with Winter. (Same Blue who had told himself he wouldn’t sleep with Winter until they got their priorities right.)

As long as Winter was in his life, his ability to make decisions for himself and their relationship became null and void. Seeing as a word or a kiss from Winter was able to turn his brain and make him go stupid.

"Your other dad is sooooo annoying," Blue complained to his baby as Winter began to cloud his thoughts.

"He never gives me a break. Always trying to manipulate me with his touch. And we haven’t even gotten back together or addressed our official status!" Blue exclaimed in annoyance.

It was true. Winter hadn’t spoken about their break up or attempted to ask him out again. He just showed up whenever, kept Blue company in bed or with sweet words, then vanished.

Making Blue crave him more. It was so annoying.

"One of these days, I’m seriously going to beat sense into his head." Blue said, believing that his baby was on his side.

"Now, let’s actually get some work done..." Blue turned to his bedstand to grab his laptop.

He placed his laptop on the bed and decided to start writing something about the idea he just had.

Before he was able to release his creative juice, someone knocked on the front door. All the hairs in his body stood erect.

He jumped down from the bed.

’Is it Kendall?’ he asked internally as he carefully made his way to the living room without making a single noise.

This was so the person on the other side of the door wouldn’t know he was around since there would be no sound of movement in the house.

In the past, Blue never used to check who was on the other side of the door with the peephole since he didn’t care who it was coming to visit him. Now that he cared, he always made use of it before opening the door or pretending not to be home.

As he peeked through the hole, Blue’s vision was bombarded with boxes. He couldn’t even see the person who knocked.

"What the fuck..." he said in confusion.

Now he was curious. Blue’s curiosity overwhelmed his fear of crossing paths with Kendall as he swung the door open.

The boxes were more than he thought they would be after he opened the door. What was going on here?

"Blue, hi..." A familiar voice spoke up.

Blue’s perplexed expression turned sour as his two brothers came to view.

"Hey," Eliot stepped forward, holding a large pink box in his hands.

"What the fuck is all of this?" Blue cut to the chase, referring to the boxes in front of his door.

"They’re gifts. For our nephew," Atlas replied as he pushed past Eliot and stood in front of Blue. "We, brothers, might not have the best relationship. But we want what’s best for your child."

Blue was trying to wrap his head around Atlas’ words when the guy snapped his fingers, and two people emerged from behind the boxes.

They were wearing blue overalls as they began to carry the boxes inside Blue’s apartment without invitation.

Blue was too stunned to react. The people kept bringing boxes into his house. This gave Eliot and Atlas the opportunity to also enter into his house; something they have never done since the beginning of their spontaneous showing up to his house and disrupting his peace.

All throughout the offloading of the boxes into his house, Blue didn’t move an inch from the spot he was standing, rooted to the ground. Once the people were done, they left his house. And by that time, Eliot and Atlas had already comfortably taken seats on the couch, like they owned the place.

Blue’s anger had been simmering all this time. He was ready to explode as Atlas said, "Have a seat."

"I will not be having a seat," Blue spoke through gritted teeth.

Eliot exhaled loudly before saying, "Please. We don’t want you to stress yourself. It’s not good for the baby."

Baby?! What baby!? How did they know that he was pregnant!?

The only people who knew were Winter, his parents, Kendall, Adam, Logan, and himself.

Blue was absolutely sure that none of those people would go ranting off to his brothers that he was pregnant.

So how come they knew about his pregnancy??

Note: Alright, I want to address something. I know a lot of you guys have been finding Blue’s actions and reactions to things in this volume extra.

But trust me, they aren’t. Blue has always been the type of person who tries not to care about people’s opinions of him as seen in volume one. He would feel bad whenever he was accused of doing something or badmouthed, but he wouldn’t outright react.

But now with Winter, he reacts to everything. That’s because he cares about Winter. And cares about Winter’s opinion of him. Things that he would be able to overlook if it was done by another person, he’d be overwhelmed by them if it was done by Winter.

Winter has gotten him to open up to things which is why he finds it hard to keep everything to himself. Only after exploding does he begin to feel guilty for speaking up, I don’t know if you guys have noticed.

The reason why they fight so much is because they’ve gotten so comfortable in each other’s presence that they now notice the things they didn’t notice about each other when they just got together.

And it’s a good thing. The more they open up and fight over things, the more they’d be able to overcome their problems and set themselves on a smoother path.

So don’t be alarmed when they get angry at each other. And please, don’t blame Blue. Bro has a lot on his table and just wants to be genuinely loved. His only problem is his defensiveness. Which is an armor for him.

Sorry for the long rant.
