Shades of Blue (Omegaverse BL) -
Chapter 122 - 120 | Ex-boyfriend
Chapter 122: 120 | Ex-boyfriend
Blue had managed to become the most important person in Winter’s life. It was weird that Winter hadn’t noticed all the time. And weird how he hadn’t even looked the way of another Omega after he met Blue.
After their vigorously spent night, he decided to stay over. He cleaned Blue up and arranged his place. All this in time so he could watch Blue peacefully sleep next to him.
Blue’s head resting on his waist as he stroked his hair gently. Being with Blue was so peaceful, why did they fight all the time?
Blue stirred in his sleep, chewing his mouth and speaking gibberish. Winter chuckled in amusement watching this sight.
"You’re so cute." Winter remarked.
Somehow, his words were enough to cause Blue’s lashes to flutter as he opened his eyes. His dark blue irises searched the room before they landed on Winter.
Blue instantly composed himself and rose up from Winter’s waist. He was about to ask what Winter was doing at his place when he remembered all the things that transpired the previous night.
Blue flushed with embarrassment. His common sense had returned to him and he began to slightly regret that he and Winter had talked about anything important. Instead, they had tangled in the sheets and caught up with what they had been missing out on for so long.
The combination of Winter and Blue was really headache inducing.
"Hey, good morning." Winter said with a light tone as a smile played on his lips.
Blue opened his mouth to respond but the sudden urge to throw up overwhelmed him. He quickly shot up from the bed and rushed to the bathroom.
Winter instinctively followed Blue, worried that something was seriously wrong. When he met Blue throwing up inside the toilet, Winter remembered that Blue was pregnant once again.
It was weird how he was always forgetting about the fact. Seeing Blue deal with morning sickness had that fact sink into his head even more.
When Blue was finished, he helped Blue up to the sink, washed his face and rinsed his mouth. Blue staggered all the way back to the bed and sat down.
"Are you okay?" Winter asked with concern. "Are you feeling pain anywhere?"
There was also a hint of guilt in his tone. He had worked Blue so hard the previous night, what if it was too much? He hadn’t even asked Blue how he felt because he’d been too up in his own pleasure to care.
Winter felt like he was really a bad boyfriend, and an even worse father-to-be.
"I’m fine," Blue simply said, looking and breathing like he was anything but fine.
"Are you sure? I’m–"
"Fuck. I said I’m fine. Quit worrying so much." Blue snapped with a sharp tone. He didn’t intend for his words to come out so harsh that they caused Winter’s face to fall in dejection.
"Okay..." Winter said, taking the space next to Blue on the bed.
Now, Blue was feeling bad.
"You don’t have to look like the entire world is against you just because I snapped at you." Blue tried to lighten the mood by teasing Winter.
Winter’s lips curved into a pout as he said, "Who told you I looked like that?"
Blue couldn’t stop the cute laugh that bubbled from his mouth as he pinched Winter’s cheek. "You should learn to start acting like an adult. I can’t be raising two kids."
Blue stood up from his bed after saying that, recalling the dream he had about having a small family with Winter.
Since Winter wasn’t aware of Blue’s thoughts, he felt like Blue was mocking him. So he stood up to defend himself.
As he opened his mouth to speak, the sound of knocking rang out.
"I’ll go get it." Winter changed his words. He hadn’t even taken a step towards the bedroom door as he was pushed back onto the bed by Blue.
"This isn’t your house. You can’t answer the door for a guest." Blue walked out on Winter after saying those words.
In Blue’s absence, Winter frowned. What was wrong with him answering the door? It was just a door, wasn’t it? He immediately got the sense that Blue was hiding something from him.
And since he was the type of person who refused to learn lessons from his personal experience, he stood up from the bed and walked out of the room to spy on what Blue was up to.
Meanwhile, Blue had two guesses of who could be at the door. None of them were guests he would appreciate. As he swung open his front door and got a brief look at the tall man standing outside his door, Blue had the intent to close it back immediately.
"Stop, please," came a pleading masculine voice from the other side of the door as a leg stuck into Blue’s house.
Winter, who had happened to cling to the hallway and witness such a scene happen right before his very eyes, was assured that Blue was indeed hiding something from him.
"When are you going to stop doing this? I’ve told you multiple times to leave me alone." Blue spoke with a frustrated tone.
Winter’s brows creased. Was Blue talking to an ex boyfriend? No, it couldn’t be. Winter shook off the thought immediately it came to his mind.
It couldn’t be an ex boyfriend. He was Blue’s first and would certainly be his last boyfriend.
"You know I can’t do that. Please, give me one chance. To make it up to you. I promise that I’ve changed." The person said with a sincere voice.
Winter’s jaw dropped. What chance?! What making it up?! Who was this person? How dare he try to manipulate Blue into taking him back with such cheap words!?
Winter was livid. He immediately stepped forward to look at the face of the bastard who was trying to win his baby’s mama’s heart.
Winter hadn’t even gotten to the front door when he stopped on his tracks after seeing the person’s face.
He realized that the universe had played a cruel plot twist on him.
