Chapter 105 - 103 | Blue, Blue, Blue

Chapter 105: 103 | Blue, Blue, Blue

"You’re an idiot, you know that, right?" was the first thing Logan said to Winter, seeing him after inviting himself to Winter’s house.

After Blue moved out of Adam’s house, Logan and Adam had thought that Blue had made up with Winter. It was only yesterday when Adam was on a call with Blue and had heard some rando’s voice who Blue introduced as his new neighbor did they realize that Blue wasn’t with Winter.

And that he hadn’t been with Winter all this time. And that in fact, they were no longer together!

So much information to digest. And at the end of digestion, it was clear that Logan and Adam had to step in to save their friends. Seeing as their friends only had them as friends.

Logan decided to pay Winter a visit. Adam decided to pay Blue a visit.

Logan had come with the full mind to drag Winter to wherever Blue was and make him beg for forgiveness, believing that Winter had lost interest in Blue and broken up with him.

After stepping into Winter’s place and finding his face sitting pathetically on a chair staring into nothing, Logan realized that Blue must have been the one to break up with Winter.

"How did you let him get away?" Logan asked with a disgusted look on his face as he walked over to the chair Winter was seating on.

Blue was Winter’s biggest catch, if Logan were to say so himself. There was no other person as fitting for Winter like Blue. They were perfect for each other, so what was actually wrong with the two of them??

Logan stopped moving when he stood right in front of Winter. They’d been friends for many years and not once had Logan ever caught Winter looking like anything that couldn’t be related to perfect.

However, the Winter in front of him looked like a hopeless hipster who the universe was against.

"I don’t know." Winter finally spoke, sounding as though he hadn’t said a word in months with a deep and dry voice.

"What do you mean you don’t know? And what’s wrong with you? Why haven’t you planned some grand gesture to get him back? Or is it because of that thing you’re holding back?" Logan questioned.

He didn’t need to specify what ’thing’ he was referring to as Winter understood him immediately. It was about the rumor concerning Blue and Adonis. The exact cause of their breakup.

"You do know that it’s obviously not true, don’t you?" Logan said.

Winter didn’t speak. He knew now that it wasn’t true. But when he first saw it, he couldn’t think straight and decided to explode on Blue.

Winter was the biggest fool ever known to mankind. He knew Blue. Fuck. He knew Blue so well. And yet, he’d done such an idiotic thing.

Winter was angry at himself. Angry that he hadn’t used his brain the one time he needed to. How could he have thought that Blue was cheating on him?

No matter the amount of compromising photos there were on the Internet, Blue was not that kind of person. Blue didn’t even like Alphas. If they wanted the rumor to be more believable, they could have said that he was cheating with Beta.

And Winter knew this very well. Yet, yet, yet, yet...

"Ah, fuck..." was all Winter could say in response to Logan’s question as he covered his face with his palms.

"You can’t be serious, man. It’s been weeks and you’re still here drowning in sorrow. This isn’t like you at all. Get up your butt and go get your man!" Logan felt like a motivational speaker as he said these words.

It wasn’t every day he was given the opportunity to use wise words. However, his ’encouragement’ didn’t help with Winter’s condition at all. In fact, it managed to worsen the situation, causing Winter to fall sideways on the couch, giving up proper sitting.

"Hey, hey, hey–"

"It’s already over now. There’s nothing I can do. And I’m sure he doesn’t ever want to see my face in his life at all." Winter said with a bitter smile on his face.

Knowing Blue, it was better for Winter to just disappear from the surface of the earth rather than going to apologize to him and repeatedly annoy him just to gain his forgiveness.

Blue hated that shit more than anything else. Being the center of attraction in a place he doesn’t want to be. Winter had subjected him to such conditions thousands of times.

And one more time could just be the different time that Blue would use his fists instead of his words. Winter didn’t want to be met with such a situation.

"And you’re okay with that?" Logan asked Winter with a concerned tone.

He was definitely not okay with it. How could he be when he was freaking in love and obsessed with Blue??

It was all Blue in his mind. Him thinking about the good times he’d had with Blue, regretting the bad things he’d done to Blue, imagining how things would be if he hadn’t upset Blue, thinking about the ways to get Blue back... it was truly all Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue in his head.

And he wasn’t sick of it. He wasn’t tired of thinking of Blue because somehow, though he was sad and upset, thinking of Blue made him feel a bit better.

If only there was a way to go back in time and stop himself from thinking with his ass instead of his head, Winter would go back.

And he would make sure to cling to Blue to show the entire world that he was obsessed with Blue beyond human comprehension.

"I think you should-"

Logan was cut off by the sound of his own ringtone. He grabbed his phone from his pocket and saw that he was getting a call from Adam.

A blush unconsciously made its way to his cheeks as he accepted the call and distanced himself from Winter.

"You talked to Winter?" Adam questioned, direct and straight to the point as he always was with Logan.

"Yeah, but I’m not sure anything’s going to change in the end. What about you? Have you spoken to Blue?" Logan said with a low voice, glancing to check on Winter.

Adam negatively hummed before saying, "I can’t reach him. I got to his place and his neighbor just told me that Blue’s phone fell into the toilet and that he’s at some restaurant to celebrate the end of filming with his crew."

Logan found it strange that Blue’s phone was always in some kind of situation whenever they needed to contact him, but he quickly came off the thought and asked, "Does he know the name of the restaurant? Maybe I can get Winter to go there and work something out?"

Adam didn’t respond to Logan immediately. Instead, Logan could hear shuffling in the background before Adam asked someone for the name of the restaurant Blue went to. The person responded immediately, almost too eager to be helpful.

Logan got the bane of the restaurant and told Adam to rest easy; he could take care of things.

Adam was a bit skeptical about leaving the future of his best friend’s love life to a guy who couldn’t even express his own love.

"I got this. Trust me." Logan said with a reassuring tone.

Adam was forced to sigh and give up. The call was terminated and Logan turned back to face Winter once again.

"Hey. Go freshen up, we have somewhere to go." Logan said with a rushed tone as he walked over to Winter.

He caught Winter raising a brow at him in curiosity.

"You better get Blue back tonight because after tonight, there isn’t going to be anything linking you two together." Logan spilled half bullshit.

They were no longer in university. Blue and Winter were still slightly connected due to the fact that the Dumonts were huge investments in the movie Blue was working for.

However, since today was the last day of filming, he technically had nothing else to do with the production, didn’t he? And that meant, there would be nothing else to link him to Winter and the Dumonts.

Winter had this line of thinking but still wasn’t motivated enough to chase after a love that would surely bring problems soon after attained.

Even if he made up with Blue, they would still fight in the future. They weren’t as perfect for each other as other people thought.

Truth to be told, they were incompatible. They didn’t share up to a handful of likes and they disagreed with each other on almost every matter.

And neither of them liked to compromise. Winter was always forced to be the one to give in as Blue was even more stubborn and strong headed than he was.

That was the one thing Winter didn’t like and could perfectly do without—Blue’s stubbornness.
