Chapter 837: 009 Call me Beichen

"Eh, why did Uncle and Auntie leave without saying anything, Jordy..." Celia Wade noticed only half of the Chicken Shredded Porridge remained as she packed to return, realizing she was left alone in the room with him. She was puzzled, thinking how could Uncle and Auntie just leave without a word?

What’s the rush?

Before she could finish her thoughts, Noah Wilton put the Chicken Shredded Porridge down and reintroduced himself to Celia Wade with all seriousness, "Call me Noah, from now on I am Noah Wilton. Jordy Wade was never really my name."

The name Jordy originally belonged to the son of James Parker’s family. He found out later that Mason Parker was also James Parker’s illegitimate son. The kidnappers that year, in fact, wanted to kidnap him but mixed things up, which ironically saved his name. So, this is the fate of a person.

James Parker didn’t seem that grieved by Mason Parker’s death. Later, when the Wade Family relocated overseas, he didn’t follow the domestic news much.

He was quite grateful to Mason Parker, and so he used this man’s name in the new place he went to.

But now, he needed to become himself again.

"What?" Celia Wade was very surprised and didn’t quite understand what he meant.

"Actually, I used to be called Noah Wilton. Now that I recognize my father, according to the customs of Z Country, a child should take the father’s surname. So, from now on, I’ll be known as Ryan Parker. You wanted me to recognize them too, right?" Ryan Parker asked, looking at the bewildered Celia Wade.

"...That’s great, Ryan Parker, Ryan Parker, what a nice name," Celia Wade laughed happily. In truth, it didn’t matter at all what his name was; what mattered was that he was still him.

"Call me Noah, don’t say the last name with it," someone insisted, sounding a bit imperious and childish.

"..." Celia looked at the person who had changed his name and didn’t stop until she made him feel somewhat embarrassed. In the end, she showed indulgence, "Okay, little friend Noah, are you happy now?"

"..." He had asked her to call him Noah, not to add ’little friend’ to it.

Someone’s expression turned dark, but Celia was in high spirits, bursting into laughter. His face grew even darker, but seeing the bright, radiant smile on Celia’s face, little friend Noah couldn’t help but smile as well.

Thanks to the company of Marcus Parker and Ellie WIlton, a week’s stay in the hospital quickly passed. With the attentive care from a few people, Ryan Parker recovered quite well. The emaciation from only being able to eat liquid food while bedridden seemed to have filled out a bit over the week.

Celia Wade was finally relieved, and likewise, Ellie WIlton and Marcus Parker also felt much more at ease.

At the time of discharge, Hendrix Hutton even joked with Celia Wade, "Silly girl, with your boyfriend’s strong physique, as long as there are no accidents, it’s entirely possible for him to live a long life, don’t worry."

Hendrix’s words were obviously teasing Celia about the concerns she had expressed earlier regarding post-surgery complications. Everyone laughed heartily, and Celia felt embarrassed, wondering if she had made a fuss over nothing.

Ryan Parker, of course, wasn’t pleased either. The term ’silly girl’ – how could Hendrix use it on her? The former Jordy Wade had suppressed his true emotions too much. Now that he had a new identity, there was no need to hide his jealousy.

So, someone threw a tantrum, "Can we leave now?"

"Yeah, let’s go, let’s go," Ellie Wilton replied, guessing the child might be a bit weary after staying in the Hospital for so long.

Celia Wade then thanked Hendrix again and left with Ryan Parker.

Leaving the Hospital, they drove for an hour to reach the separate courtyard.

The butler and a line of servants were there to greet them at the entrance, "Master, lady, welcome home to the young master and lady."

Ryan Parker + Celia Wade: "..."

Their expressions stiffened simultaneously, somewhat puzzled by Marcus Parker staging such a scene. It was just too comical.

"Home, we’re home," Marcus Parker laughed awkwardly, calling the two of them inside.

As they entered the house, the servants promptly attended to them, calling out ’young master Noah’ and ’lady Celia’.

Celia Wade was relieved, thankful that they still addressed her as lady Celia and not grandma Shearer – that would have made her faint for sure.
