"Miss Wade, may we take a moment of your time to come in and talk?" Ellie Wilton asked politely.

"...Come in, please." Celia Wade had no choice but to put down the New Year goods she was holding and let the two strangers into the house.

To her, they were indeed strangers.

After allowing them to enter, Celia went to the Kitchen to brew two cups of flower tea to welcome them. Regardless of what they wanted to talk to her about, she still had the basic courtesy to treat guests, even though she wasn’t very fond of Ellie WIlton. Even though everyone said she was so consumed by love that she lost herself, which was deemed very noble.

"I am Ellie WIlton, and this is my husband, Marcus Parker." Once Celia Wade put the flower tea in front of them and sat down across from them, Ellie WIlton introduced themselves.

"Hmm, I know. Mrs. Parker’s return to the country was witnessed by a large audience, and I believe the whole nation saw it on television. I also believe that many people in the country now recognize Mr. and Mrs. Parker," and she was one of them, Celia Wade said with a smile, trying not to let the words sound too sarcastic.

Ellie Wilton gave a small smile, hiding her own feelings even though she could sense Celia Wade’s dislike for her.

If she found out she was Jordy Wade’s biological mother, she’d probably like her even less.

However, regardless, she needed Celia Wade to come with them to Kyoto; Jordy’s surgery required her signature. She believed this was what Jordy would want, and both she and Marcus Parker apparently had no right to sign those consent forms.
