Chapter 812: Chapter 812: Paternity Test (2)

Thinking this way, Marcus Parker let go of his concerns.

Jordy Wade turned his head back and just looked at Ellie Wilton. On her face, he could see the worry and care she had for him, and he could tell.

"Let’s do this, I want to take a paternity test with you. With your social status, it shouldn’t be difficult to arrange at this hospital, and I need it to be expedited." He had no memory now, and couldn’t remember his own social status or connections. So, he was asking them to step in.

"...Paternity test? With us?" Ellie Wilton and Marcus Parker spoke in unison again, both somewhat in disbelief, not understanding why Jordy Wade would make such a request.

They both thought the request was utterly bizarre.

Ellie Wilton had always believed that her son was dead, while Marcus Parker only knew that their child had been aborted while still in Ellie Wilton’s womb.

He had been troubled by this for a long time but eventually forgave her. After all, as the mother, she must have felt even greater sorrow from making such a choice, especially since he understood that in a way, she did it for him.

So, why would Jordy Wade suddenly ask for a paternity test with them?

It had to be either Ellie Wilton or him, Marcus Parker. Surely, it couldn’t involve both of them.

However, he trusted Ellie Wilton’s character. If in her life there had only been him, then she wouldn’t have had children with another man. And he, Marcus Parker, may have been a scoundrel in his youth, but he remained faithful to her after they met.

Jordy Wade did not react to their astonishment. He walked to a chair in the corridor and sat down, "The car accident caused me to lose my memory, and I lay in bed for at least half a year before I woke up. Upon awakening, the only memory fragment in my mind was from when I was about three or four years old, on a rainy night. A woman took me to a place called Fortstar Orphanage, and when I waved goodbye to that woman, the face I saw was yours, Mrs. Parker. So, when I saw you and Mr. Parker in the news on television, I came to Kyoto. I hope to receive Mrs. Parker’s help to recover my memory sooner. Beyond that, I don’t need anything else."

Jordy Wade spoke calmly and composedly, yet, Ellie Wilton next to Marcus Parker was already unable to remain calm. She completely fell apart the moment she heard the name Fortstar Orphanage.

Only she and her son knew of this affair, so was the man in front of her really her child who she believed had died in a fire?

If her son was still alive, then in all likelihood, the dean of the orphanage wouldn’t have deceived her. When she learned of the fire at Fortstar Orphanage, she had rushed there immediately. Learning that her son had died in the fire, she nearly collapsed, only a phone call from Marcus Parker provided a moment of calm.

She hadn’t even taken care of her son’s ashes but had asked the dean to handle it for her. It was her biggest regret in life, but Jordy Wade’s words sent a shiver through her, and she broke down again.

So, her son hadn’t died?

He had even appeared before her, and she had been unaware.

"I came to you not for your sake, but for a girl named Celia Wade. She’s my sister, and perhaps you’ve heard of the Wade Family, so you should know her," Jordy continued, still expressionless.

Marcus Parker and Ellie Wilton: "..."

Faced with Jordy Wade’s indifference, they were at a loss for words.
