After lunch, Celia and Jordy went home, and Henry Ruiz said that he would inform them once the surgery time was confirmed.

On the way back, Jordy couldn’t help but ask, "Is it that my test results aren’t good?"

"No. Uncle Henry said you have a blood clot in your brain that needs to be removed, and you might regain your memory after that. Are you afraid of having surgery?" Celia pulled the car over to the side, not wanting to discuss such a serious issue while driving.

"I’m not afraid. I know you will always be with me, and you don’t have to be afraid either. I think Uncle Henry is still trustworthy, right?" Jordy said calmly.

Unable to hold back any longer, Celia rushed over and hugged him tightly. Her hot tears slid into Jordy’s neck, "Promise me, once the surgery is successful, and your memory is restored, no matter what you remember, give me a chance to explain, okay?"

Celia was truly afraid, and she had many fears.

She was afraid that the surgery would fail, and she would lose him forever. She was also afraid that if the surgery was successful and his memory was restored, he would avoid her again, and she would still lose him.

"Okay, I promise you." Jordy couldn’t bear to see her cry. After hesitating for a moment, he reached out, pulled her into his arms, and gently comforted her.

Celia composed herself, restarted the car, and drove home.

When they arrived at the entrance of the Residential Area, they were stopped by a police officer. Celia suddenly remembered that she and Xiao He had reported Jordy missing when they couldn’t find him the night before. She hurriedly got out of the car to explain the situation to the officer.

The police officer was understanding. They had come to investigate the situation further, not expecting that Jordy was already back. The situation was now resolved, and the missing person case was closed.

Jordy watched as Celia apologised to the police officer and handled his case with a smile. At that moment, he was deeply moved and filled with feelings that even he couldn’t comprehend.

When Celia got back in the car, she explained, "When we couldn’t find you last night, Xiao He and I reported you missing. Then, when we saw you back, we were so happy that we forgot about it."

"It’s okay." Jordy shook his head, understanding her feelings.

"Well, let’s go home. You’ve been out for most of the day, and you need to rest," Celia nodded, driving into the Residential Area, and parking the car in the underground garage.

When they got home, Jordy obediently went to his room to rest while Celia went to process orders on Whatsapp. She had taken a day off the day before, and there were still some orders that hadn’t been shipped out yet.

By the time she finished, it was already four in the afternoon. There were hardly any ingredients left in the fridge, so she was about to go shopping when she received a call from Xiao He. She said that she had bought some groceries and was on her way over.

Celia was truly grateful to Xiao He, who had helped her a lot during these days.

If it weren’t for Xiao He, she thought that she would have had a hard time getting through these few months alone.

With Xiao He coming over, Celia decided not to go out. At this time, Jordy came out of his room and saw Celia’s red eyes, "Lily, you didn’t take a nap."

"Yeah, I was delayed yesterday, and I just finished dealing with some things. It’s okay; I’ll just go to bed early tonight," Celia didn’t think it was a big deal.

"I’ll cook dinner. You go rest in the room for a while. Quickly go and tell me if there’s anything else you need me to do," Jordy insisted. Since he had decided to take good care of her, he couldn’t allow himself to enjoy indulgence now.
