Chapter 791: Chapter 791: A Blood Clot (4)

During the examination, Jordy Wade was quite cooperative.

On the other hand, Celia Wade, who was waiting outside, was very nervous. Jordy was quite calm, accepting himself as he was now, regardless of the cause of his memory loss. As Celia said, no matter the reason, they would face it and solve it together.

An hour later, Jordy was wheeled out by a nurse.

Afterward, Henry Ruiz came out as well, "Celia, the results will be available in the afternoon. Emily Hill just called me, asking both of you to their house. She has bought a lot of groceries and wants you two to have lunch there."

"Alright, Uncle Henry, we’ll go ahead. Also, my brother doesn’t need any more examinations, right?" Celia addressed him as her brother since Dr. Wang was present, and everyone knew they were siblings except for the Ruiz family.

"Yes, everything is done." Henry Ruiz nodded.

"Thanks, Uncle Henry." Celia nodded, and Jordy also thanked him before leaving with Celia to Carolline Ruiz’s house.

Indeed, Emily Hill had bought a lot of groceries. The kindergarten had a break as well, with a meeting next week before the official winter vacation. She had nothing to do, and Axel would only stay at home for two or three days before someone from the Hawkins family would come to pick him up.

Thus, she had plenty of time to help Celia take care of Jordy. This was not only Carolline’s instruction but her own idea as well.

"Carolline mentioned that you opened an online store at home. How’s the business?" As soon as the two arrived home, Axel ran to Jordy, asking him to play with him. Celia went to help Emily.

"It’s going alright. It’s just something to pass the time when I’m bored, not really for making money." Celia smiled. Her initial goal was indeed just to pass the time. After resigning, she had a lot of free time, enough to be bored. So, she looked for things to do, and cooking had always been her interest.

So she started researching and, on a whim, opened an online store.

"That’s a good mindset." Emily Hill nodded. People who don’t focus on making money often make money more easily, while those who start with the intention of making a certain amount might not do so.

"Auntie Celia, Uncle Jordy is so stupid," Axel complained as he came over while they were chatting.

He had never seen Jordy before, and this was his first time meeting him. He had thought Uncle Jordy would be very impressive, but it turned out that he wasn’t skilled in any games. After playing for a while, Axel found it boring.

"Don’t say that about Uncle Jordy. He’s actually very impressive; he’s just sick right now. When he gets better, Axel, you can challenge him and see for yourself," Celia defended Jordy.

"Yeah, Axel, Uncle Jordy is sick, not stupid. Once he gets better, you’ll see." Emily Hill also helped out, knowing how capable Jordy was. Otherwise, their precious daughter from the Saunders family wouldn’t have cherished him like a treasure.

"Alright, I’ll wait for Uncle Jordy’s illness to get better, then play with him properly. Auntie Celia, Grandma, what kind of illness does Uncle Jordy have?" Axel thought that Jordy didn’t seem sick at all.

The patients he had seen before had pale faces and listless expressions. But Uncle Jordy had none of these symptoms, and his face looked quite good and rosy.

"Uncle has amnesia. He has forgotten many things, so Axel should become a little teacher for him. Teach him, and accompany him to practice more, so Uncle will become more and more impressive," Emily Hill patiently explained to Axel.

"I see. Then I’ll go play with Uncle now." Axel, being kind-hearted, walked a few steps before remembering something. "Grandma, we have an appointment with Elena Duncan this afternoon. Don’t forget."
