Carolline Ruiz quickly packed some things and was about to leave, thinking that Bryan Hawkins was still inside, she knocked on the door of the Health Room, "Bryan, Jasmine had an accident, I have to go to the hospital, please take care of Axel, I probably won’t be back tonight."

"Wait for me, I’ll be ready in a moment." Bryan Hawkins said loudly from within the Health Room.

Carolline wanted to say it wasn’t necessary, but in less than five seconds, Bryan Hawkins really did open the door, with water still dripping from his head. She didn’t know what to say; it was the Ruiz family’s business and Bryan Hawkins had just returned today, she thought he should rest properly.

However, there was no way Bryan Hawkins would let Carolline face such a big problem alone.

They both left the room together, Aunt Lu and Uncle Lei hadn’t gone to bed yet. Bryan Hawkins explained the situation to them before leaving with Carolline.

In less than half an hour, they both arrived at the hospital.

Jasmine Ruiz had been taken to the Operation Room. No wonder earlier when she called, Jasmine didn’t answer. Outside the Operation Room, the Ruiz Family members had all gathered, even Master Ruiz had arrived with the help of the butler.

The old master sat alone, while everyone else stood. He sat in a chair, gasping for breath with both hands tightly gripping his cane. The butler stood beside him, helping him catch his breath.

"Grandpa—" Carolline and Bryan Hawkins arrived, not expecting the nonagenarian grandfather to be there. Their main concern now was the old man’s physical and emotional state.

"You’re here? Ah, what kind of calamity has befallen our Ruiz family? What kind of disaster is this?" Master Ruiz leaned on his cane, striking the ground hard.

"Grandpa, don’t be angry. Jasmine is still in surgery. Maybe both the mother and child will be alright." Carolline quickly sat beside Master Ruiz and comforted his heart. She didn’t know what had happened to Jasmine that suddenly led to a miscarriage. If it had something to do with Christopher Lopez or if the stress was too great, it was possible that the child could not be saved.

Thinking about a little life that could have been born into this world in less than two months, suddenly gone, Carolline also felt heavy-hearted and heartbroken.

They could only hope that Heaven would have mercy on Jasmine and her unborn child, and both would be safe and sound.

"Ah, I can only hope so." Master Ruiz patted Carolline’s hand, feeling slightly relieved after hearing her words, "Where is Axel? Both of you are here, what about that child?"

"He’s sleeping, rest assured, there is someone at home to take care of him," Carolline said.

"That’s good." Master Ruiz nodded his head, and the corridor returned to an eerie silence.

After a while, Avie Ruiz arrived with a neat and clean-looking young man beside her, both panting. They must have rushed here as soon as they received the news.

No one paid attention to the young man beside Avie. When they arrived, everyone glanced at them but didn’t say much.

Natalie Parton saw this and quickly pulled Avie aside to talk, while the young man stood quietly beside them, not saying a word.

Carolline looked up at them but didn’t say anything. She knew it was inappropriate for Avie to bring her boyfriend at this time, but on second thought, it was so late and it wouldn’t be proper for Avie to come alone, so it was understandable for her boyfriend to accompany her to the hospital.

However, all the people of the Ruiz family now had their hearts focused on the mother and child in the Operation Room, and no one would question Avie’s boyfriend’s situation.
