However, these glory days lasted for only three months when Debbie found out that she was pregnant. When she excitedly told the man, his demeanor changed instantly - like night and day.

The man immediately turned stern, coldly handing her a stack of money and directed her to the hospital to abort the child.

But Debbie couldn’t bear to do it. She had heard that if a man doesn’t want to take responsibility, a woman can use their unborn child to force him to do so.

However, a month later, when the man found out that Debbie did not follow his advice, he furiously left. Before leaving, they had a huge argument where the man revealed that he already had a wife and children - a boy and a girl - and was happy with his life.

He only stayed with Debbie because he found her young and attractive; it was merely a game for him. He warned her not to take this relationship seriously as he was past the age of playing with sentiments.

Furious and shocked, Debbie just then found out that the man already had a wife and children and was merely toying around with her.

When leaving, at least the man had a conscience. He left additional money for the abortion and a little extra for compensation. After that, he never returned.

Debbie thought of going to the hospital for the abortion, but when she saw the ultrasound images, she impulsively decided to keep the baby.

Then, she used the money she gathered in the last few months to move to a small town and start a small business. Little did she know, she was not cut out for it, and soon was penniless.

In the end, she even ran out of money to buy formula and had to beg all the way back home with her son, Cole.

With the help of kind people, she finally made it back to the village, where she discovered that both her parents had died of grief after she left with the man. All that was left was her dilapidated house which provided shelter for her and Cole.

She bowed at her parents’ graves, asking for forgiveness, but nothing could bring them back now.

In trying to make ends meet, Debbie did everything she could and faced a lot of hardship. As Cole was growing up and the expenses were increasing, she was even willing to sell her body for money.
