"..." Daisy Willow knew Carolline Ruiz was talking about the mother and son from the Duncan Family. Just as she was about to say something, Carolline Ruiz spoke again, "How about this, let’s find a time to have a meal together when it’s time for you and Elena to leave, as a farewell."

"Axel was just talking to Elena on the phone upstairs. Elena will go to M Country to study when the new semester starts, so they won’t be classmates anymore. Daisy Willow was washing dishes in the kitchen. Elena didn’t seem as sad as Axel, mainly because she had already been sad in advance. Evelyn Willow, who hadn’t seen her for a few days, was particularly nice to her, voluntarily giving her the TV remote to watch her favorite shows.

Evelyn noticed that Elena had a strong ability to make friends. She had already made two new friends during her short time in Kyoto.

On the other hand, Axel was alone at home every day. His parents were always busy, leaving only his grandparents to accompany him. He had actually missed Elena a lot these past few days.

Elena didn’t miss Axel as much as she missed Kent Auclair, especially since Brother Kent didn’t like Axel very much. For that reason, she didn’t like Evelyn much either.

After washing the dishes, Daisy Willow helped Millie Campbell cut the fruit, which was watermelon and cantaloupe. Daisy dried her hands and helped put the fruit on the plate.

"Daisy, is something bothering you?" Millie noticed Daisy’s unusual behavior during dinner time.

During dinner, they talked more about the store they had found, which was already under renovation.

Daisy Willow had suggested they turn it into a small supermarket rather than a grocery store like the one they had at home. After all, if the place was larger and the goods were more abundant, there would be more customers.

At that time, Samuel Willow mentioned that they lacked the funds to open a supermarket. The money they had in hand was insufficient for such a venture.

Daisy Willow had then promised that if they needed more money, they could get it from her. She still had some money left and wouldn’t have to dip into the sum provided by the Duncan Family.

Moreover, she and Simon Carrington had signed an agreement, and Simon had even paid her the first-year salary. The matter was settled, and she had accepted the salary from the Carrington Family.
