That night, it was already nine in the evening, and a certain little guy sitting on the living room recliner still refused to go to the bathroom to take a bath. He was holding his cellphone, utterly engrossed.

Carolline Ruiz had been patient until 9:05 when she walked over to him. "Axel, do you know what time it is? Aren’t you going to take a bath?"

"Mom, Elena went to Kyoto and met a new little friend. The little boy seemed quite well-behaved," Axel said in a pleasing manner to Carolline and handed her the phone to show her.

"Alright, then." Axel said goodnight and turned off his phone before going to his room to find his pajamas. "Mom, when’s Dad coming back?"

Leaving a wall lamp on in the living room, Carolline went back to her room to take a bath. She washed the clothes she had taken off and prepared to go back to her room to read novels.

As soon as Carolline lay down, pictures came in on her phone. She opened them and saw photos of Bryan Hawkins with an unfamiliar woman, their arms around each other. The two people in the photo looked quite intimate.

Carolline didn’t recognize the woman, but she didn’t seem like a promiscuous person - she actually appeared quite refined.

As for someone like Bryan Hawkins, there were definitely many opportunities for him to attract attention. Not to mention his family background, even his good looks made him an adored male god. Additionally, behind Bryan Hawkins was his substantial wealth.
