If a better material life meant her daughter had to endure such emotional torment, Natalie couldn’t bear it. Carolline was really lucky to have a wealthy husband who treated her so well.

"I understand, let’s eat." Natalie placed a chopstick full of vegetables in her daughter’s bowl.

Avie Ruiz grinned slightly.
