After hanging up the clothes, Bryan Cooper wiped the floor in the Health Room then came over, "Let’s go, call the others for dinner."

"Okay, brother-in-law, I’ll go." Avie wasn’t in the mood for more teasing from Carolline, she ran off blushing.

Watching her retreating figure, Carolline just smiled subtly. She thought, it won’t be long before springtime comes for Avie.

Bryan Hawkins had booked a big table on the tenth floor of the restaurant. The whole Ruiz family was seated together, including their elderly seniors, who had a bit of a tussle over who would sit with Axel before the meal. This caused quite a commotion.

In the end, Bryan, being a man, stepped back, grudgingly saying, "A real man does not fight with a woman."

"Who wants to fight with you, you’re nothing but a decrepit man," The old lady was not backing down, she continued nagging even after winning the dispute.

"Even if I’m decrepit, aren’t you just an old hag?" Bryan arched his brows in frustration, he hadn’t dealt with anyone who could agitate him like this in years.

His peers were always polite to him, and the younger generation respected him. But this old hag, they always rubbed each other the wrong way.

"So what if I’m an old hag? Axel calls me great-grandmother, so of course I am an old hag! At least I’m better than someone who refuses to admit that they are old," The old lady said with satisfaction, taking hold of Axel’s hand. Once the dishes were served, she immediately picked a duck leg for him.

Bryan did not back down either, when the chicken soup was served, he poured a bowl for Axel, "Axel, don’t eat too much meat; it’s not easy to digest. Drink some soup; it’s good for your stomach."

"You’re still so young, why do you need to worry about your stomach? This is the time to grow. You don’t understand, so don’t act like you do." The old lady was furious. Her Axel loved meat, and Bryan, the great-grandfather, was not allowing it. No wonder Axel didn’t like to visit the Ruiz family.
