"Well, considering how long you slept, I was going to have to shake you awake if you didn’t wake up soon." Bryan Hawkins nodded, handing over a small bottle of mineral water, "Drink some water first, then eat some bread."

Carolline Ruiz took it, gulping down half of it quickly, and then ate a piece of bread. She was really starving. In the morning, she’d only had half a bowl of porridge and a steamed bun.

When the car arrived at the hotel Bryan Hawkins had booked, the first thing Carolline Ruiz did as soon as she got out was to look for the restroom. She had been holding it in for so long that she was really worried about her kidneys.

Bryan Hawkins didn’t even have time to tell her to be careful before Carolline Ruiz hurriedly disappeared.

The hotel was not under the Hawkins Family’s ownership, but the hotel manager recognized him. When he had first called to book the room, the manager was very respectful, and today, he personally received them on duty.

The hotel manager respectfully led them to the front desk to check in. Henry Ruiz and his butler shared a suite; Henry Ruiz and Emily Hill, the couple, stayed in the room next door; Austin Hawkins and Sophia Lawson, along with the Hawkins family matriarch, shared another suite. The servant who usually looked after the Hawkins matriarch had taken a few days off due to personal matters, so Austin Hawkins and Sophia Lawson took care of her personally.

Natalie Parton and her family of three had another suite. There were three bedrooms and a living room, just enough for them. Bryan Hawkins and Carolline Ruiz’s plan was to have Axel stay with them in a two-bedroom suite.

Axel was popular, and everyone wanted him to stay in their room. In the end, Bryan Hawkins made the final decision, holding Axel’s hand and dragging their luggage, he waited for Carolline Ruiz in the Grand Hall. The others had already gone to their rooms to rest.

"Mr. Hawkins, lunch is ready. When would you like to eat?" the hotel manager asked after checking with the kitchen.

"Well, let’s wait another half hour," Bryan Hawkins thought.

"Alright, just give me a call later, and I’ll have them serve the food."

"Okay, thank you."

As Carolline Ruiz came out of the restroom, she saw that only her husband and son were left in the Grand Hall. She quickly walked over to them, "Are they all in their rooms?"

"Yes, Mom, why did you take so long?" Axel complained a bit.

"Uhm... You and Dad go up first, and tell me the room number. I need to go out for a while." Carolline’s face turned slightly red, and she was about to walk outside.

After giving birth to Axel, her menstrual cycle had become irregular. She had tried several traditional Chinese medicines, but they had no effect. When she went for a checkup, there was no illness found. The doctor suggested that maybe having another child would help her cycle to adjust back; after all, the country now allowed having a second child. However, Carolline didn’t even have a man at the time, so she dropped the matter. It was a good thing that her flow wasn’t very heavy on the first day.

Bryan Hawkins understood as soon as Carolline turned around. He reached out to stop her, "You go upstairs with Axel first, I’ll go buy it for you, and I’ll be back soon."

Actually, Bryan Hawkins was somewhat annoyed. It was a good thing that this was just a honeymoon practice. If Aunt Flo were to visit during their actual honeymoon, he would definitely want to get rid of her.

At this moment, he wanted to get rid of Aunt Flo too.

"..." Carolline felt even more embarrassed now that he had figured it out. Was she really that transparent in front of him?

In the end, Carolline took Axel upstairs, and Bryan Hawkins went out to find a supermarket. There was usually a supermarket near the hotel. After Axel went up, he opened the door and was immediately attracted by the huge sofa bed in the living room. He took off his shoes, jumped on it, and bounced happily on the soft sponge cushion.
