"Charlotte?" Bryan stopped his work and repeated the name with a frown, then figured out who it was. "I don’t have time. Tell the front desk to send her away."

"Yes." Xavier carried out the order.

However, Bryan didn’t expect Charlotte to be so persistent. During his lunch break, he went out to eat and was stopped by her.

"Mr. Hawkins, please give me five minutes. I have a very important matter to discuss with you." Charlotte looked unwell, having eaten nothing but a glass of milk in the morning just to seem miserable. In this way, maybe Bryan would sympathize with her.

"Are you finished? Who told you this? Do you think I control the government? You should know that I can sue you for defamation if you continue like this." Bryan interjected her words with a question.

Bryan turned and left, heading to a restaurant next to the company where he had an appointment with William Hawkins for lunch.

In the end, Charlotte returned to the hospital and went to Carolline’s office in casual attire, knocking on the door.
