"Thank you, Bryan." Avie Ruiz responded with a sweet smile.

It was only in that moment that Natalie Parton realised that her daughter Avie had secretly gone to see Carolline Ruiz and Axel, while she was not around. She wasn’t upset but, on the contrary, she praised her daughter for her judgment. Unlike herself, who had sucked up to Bonnie Jenkins and ended up being ridiculed.

After all the gifts were given, everyone was satisfied. Feeling a little hungry, the master said, "Alright, everyone tidy up. Bonnie, Natalie, isn’t it time for you to cook?"

The master only knew there was commotion outside, but he hadn’t had the chance to ask what exactly was going on. So, he was unaware that Bryan Hawkins had invited chefs who were now cooking in his kitchen.

"Dad, Bryan brought a top chef from his restaurant to prepare our dinner tonight. You just wait to enjoy it." Natalie Parton replied to the master.

Neither Bonnie Jenkins nor Jasmine Ruiz spoke. Jasmine kept silent as she was only thinking about the baby in her belly. All she could think about was going shopping for the baby with the card. She had thought about this before but had never had time to do it. Now she could take some time to have a thorough look around - she knew which store to go to.

Bonnie Jenkins remained silent but was somewhat uncomfortable inside. After all, Kylie Stratton was now earning her a reputation, while her son-in-law, Christopher Lopez, had never flattered her ego to that extent.

"Did you hire a chef?" The master stared at Bryan Hawkins, buried in thoughts over how much the dinner was costing him tonight.

Taking into account the gifts that Bryan Hawkins had brought, it must be astronomical. It’s clear how important Carolline Ruiz is to him.

Sometimes, it’s not about the amount of money, but the sincerity of a person. It’s evident that Bryan Hawkins has put much effort into impressing Carolline Ruiz.

"It doesn’t constitute hiring them, I just changed their place of work for the day. No one needs to feel burdened or pay anything extra, they’re getting their regular wages." Bryan Hawkins replied with incredible equanimity.

Everyone: "..."

Everybody was immensely grateful for the chefs in the kitchen, whereas Bryan seemed indifferent. After all, he was their boss, and his position was loftier than theirs.

That night was the Ruiz family’s dinner party. So, after completing his task, Xavier Estrada drove away.

The eight cooks had prepared dinner. Surrounded by the members of the Ruiz family, seated around an enormously large round table, the cooks served a fusion of both Western and Eastern cuisine. After introducing each dish, they left the dining room.

The cooks didn’t just bring the ingredients, even the dinnerware was brought by them. The dishes they prepared were delicately elegant. It made one reluctant to begin eating. Unbelievably, when even the mobile phone obsessed Jeffrey Ruiz and Avie Ruiz took out their phones to snap pictures of these exquisite dishes, the master didn’t lose his temper and let them be.

Bryan Hawkins cherished Axel the most. As he saw Axel’s mouth water at the sight of the food, Bryan took a piece of lobster meat, dipped it in the sauce, placed it in Axel’s bowl and said, "Eat quickly, baby."

"Thank you, Papa." Axel gulped his food down.

"Grandpa, let’s eat." Bryan Hawkins called out to the master.

Only after the master picked up his chopsticks, did everyone start eating.

Jeffrey Ruiz and Avie Ruiz were not satisfied. They hadn’t finished taking their pictures yet. Bryan Hawkins, however, just laughed it off. "There are many photos of these dishes in my restaurant. If you need more, just ask them from there."
