Carolline knew they were short on time and didn’t dare to add him on Whatsapp right away. Instead, they exchanged phone numbers, and she said, "Once you arrive and things have stabilized, I’ll contact you."

Carolline hoped that Simon’s grandfather would be safe and sound. Even though she had never met his grandfather, she could only conclude that he was a good person since he had such a kind grandson like Simon.

Simon nodded, got into the car, and the driver took him and Henry Ruiz directly to the airport.

Carolline asked him to pull into the driveway and told him that Henry Ruiz was going to Kyoto to treat Simon’s grandfather.
