When the two of them arrived at the Ruiz Family’s house with their arms full of things, Emily Hill had just finished preparing lunch. Bryan Hawkins had sent her a text beforehand, so their arrival was perfectly timed with lunch.

"You two are back?" Emily Hill looked at them, especially Carolline who seemed radiant after not coming home for a night. As her mother, she was finally relieved.

"Mhm, Mom, these are for you and Dad." Bryan Hawkins handed over the bags full of items.

"You don’t have to be so formal, do you?" Their children were already born, yet they still followed the customs so meticulously. Emily Hill didn’t know what to say.

"It’s necessary. When Dad gets back, we can discuss with him what needs to be prepared for Grandpa and the other relatives. I’m free this entire week, so on the weekend, we can take a day to visit Grandpa and the others, or invite them to the hotel for a family dinner." This was what Bryan Hawkins had considered.
