Bryan was really flattered by Axel’s friendliness. He never expected that in these years, not only had he been unaware of his son’s existence, but his son had known about him all along.

And thus, he had been an ostrich all these years without even realizing it.

"Yes." Bryan suddenly loudly agreed, a single word making Axel frown.

"Everyone says my dad’s a genius, but I think he’s a complete fool." Axel shook his head, and upon hearing the teacher’s urging, hurriedly turned and ran forward before seriously beginning class.

As for Bryan Hawkins, he really was like a fool, standing in place and wearing a silly smile for a long time.

The teacher had arrived at G City half a year ago, so she didn’t recognize Bryan. Axel’s classmates were kids, so they didn’t recognize him either. While Axel thought he looked like a fool, the teacher and other classmates all wondered if the uncle standing in front of them was the kind of bad guy they had heard about on TV.
