"As long as he treats you well, that’s good enough. After getting married, do you intend to end our relationship to please your husband’s family?" Mrs. Hawkins thought of her previous rejection. She had not quite understood the reason then, but now it all makes sense.

"I didn’t ask for anything." Mrs. Hawkins stubbornly asserted. She glanced at Austin Hawkins and Sophia Lawson seated upfront, "Call Austin, tell him it’s me. No matter how busy he is, he must call me back today."

"Okay, mom." Austin Hawkins immediately agreed. Carolline Ruiz had indeed shocked them with her visibly pregnant state.

"By the way, Austin, even though you don’t handle the company affairs anymore, you still have some contacts. Use them to inquire in Gratan Town. I want to find out whose child Carolline Ruiz is carrying in her belly." Mrs. Hawkins squinted her eyes, looking straight ahead.

She previously thought Carolline Ruiz was a good woman and continues to hold that opinion. However, she now has found her unfit for Bryan Cooper and involving with their family in any way.

"Alright, I will investigate." Austin Hawkins accepted. Sophia Lawson gave Austin Hawkins a glare. Austin just smiled at her, it was after all just an inquiry. Moreover, since Carolline Ruiz was really getting married, nothing could change that fact.
