She knew that Andy’s fondness for Carolline had nothing to do with Carolline and was simply Andy’s unrequited love. However, when she saw Carolline get out of the car with a pregnant belly and heard the people around her talking, she somehow felt affected by the words.

In fact, Andy was the kind of person who would do such a thing.

"Do you like Andy?" Carolline asked with certainty, and Megan blushed.

Carolline found it amusing, seeing Megan like this for the first time, "It’s a misunderstanding, don’t worry. Nothing will happen, and everyone will understand eventually."

Of course, Megan believed Carolline’s words. At that moment, she suddenly became open-minded and felt embarrassed about her previous awkwardness, "Carolline, I just..."

"I understand, I’m not blaming you. I’m a bit tired today and want to go back early. We have a three-day break, so let’s talk more in three days." Carolline was really tired. As a pregnant woman, she usually got sleepy around ten o’clock, and it was almost ten. She had yawned several times already.

"Okay, I’ll be the godmother to your child." Megan smiled, returning to her previous self. After talking about Andy, she wanted to discuss Matilda with her, but Carolline was too tired. Pregnant women shouldn’t be too tired, so Megan helped her, "Let’s go, I’ll take you back."

When the two went downstairs, Gavin, Andy, and Avery were clearly waiting for them. Carolline had spent a long time in the restroom, and Avery complained as soon as she saw her.

"Sorry, we chatted for a bit." Megan took the initiative to explain to Avery, "I’m Carolline’s college roommate, hello, my name is Megan Clifton, and we’ll also be colleagues in the future."

"Oh, then I’ll call you Megan, my name is Avery Graham." Avery was also straightforward, extending her hand to befriend Megan. She then turned to Carolline, "Are you going back to the dormitory or home?"

"Home." Carolline smiled. Her parents already knew about the matter, and even though her father didn’t blame her, she felt that she had to go back and face them, explaining the situation.

Her parents had accepted the situation, but returning in her current state meant there would be no wedding with Andy. She’d have to raise the child by herself, and although she could ignore what others thought, she couldn’t ignore her parents’ feelings.

"Alright, I wasted 20 minutes waiting for you." Avery was defeated by Carolline, who was dragging her exhausted body and forcing herself to wait for her.

Carolline laughed, and they all took two taxis back to People Hospital.

Andy and Gavin helped carry Carolline’s bags back to the Ruiz Family home, where Henry Ruiz and Emily Hill were waiting for her. Since it was late, Andy and Gavin quickly said their farewells.

As Andy went downstairs to return home, he bumped into Megan, who was waiting for him in the courtyard. Gavin wisely excused himself first, and Andy walked towards her shadow.

"Why haven’t you gone home yet?" Andy also noticed Megan’s awkwardness that evening; Carolline had gone to find Megan when she said she had to use the restroom.

Megan had hardly communicated with him or Carolline today. He didn’t guess Megan’s thoughts about him. He just thought of the last time when he insisted on coming back early, and Megan angrily yelled at him.

He thought Megan was still angry with him and didn’t want to talk to Carolline because he had returned early for Carolline’s sake.
