Two buses stopped in front of the luxurious hotel. After everyone got off, they were led by their leaders into the private room of the hotel.

This hotel was owned by the Hawkins Family. The host had spared no expense to reward everyone, but the volunteers were definitely worth this extravagant treat.

Avery Graham sat with Carolline Ruiz, their table was filled with people from People’s Hospital. Bernard Taylor belonged to Second Hospital, so naturally, he had to sit with people from his hospital as well. Avery felt quite relaxed.

There were several people between Megan Clifton and Carolline Ruiz. It was only at this time that Carolline Ruiz realized that Megan Clifton didn’t seem to be very enthusiastic about her. They hadn’t seen each other for such a long time, she thought Megan would at least give her a hug. Of course, it was also possible that her current appearance scared Megan. Because her grandfather felt guilty about her, she brought their family to G City. But her uncle Floyd Ferguson was insatiable and greedy. He didn’t want to depend on her grandfather’s support but ended up driving his daughter to such a state, ultimately resulting in this outcome.

Fergusons had nothing to do with her anymore, as she had never had a good impression of their family.

"Everyone said that you and..." Megan didn’t know what was going on. She should have been the clearest about Carolline’s situation, but after seeing how Andy had risked everything for Carolline and hearing Avery’s words, she believed it.

It was only after Andy left that she realized she liked him. They had spent their days arguing, and even though they frequently annoyed each other to death, those moments of bickering were precious to her.
