He was quite clingy with Elena, but only because there wasn’t anyone he trusted with her. So, he had to stick around, ready to prevent any delusional people from doing anything hopelessly foolish.

The two smiled, and Axel Hawkins stepped out again with Elena Duncan, this time without a driver, as Axel drove there by themselves.

Once at the supermarket, Elena went straight for the steak section and also picked up a bottle of ready-made cocktail, not too strong, more like a drink in taste.

Since the steak came with sides, Elena didn’t buy much more. After purchasing three steaks, she grabbed some fruit, planning to serve a fruit salad as a nice dessert after the steak.

Previously, when she made steak for Liam Carrington, the two would share a homemade fruit salad. Even if her skills weren’t great, Liam Carrington always gave her plenty of encouragement.

Thinking about it, Liam Carrington was quite pitiable, always being her guinea pig for practice.
