Even if she took a plane right now, she couldn’t stop anything.

The day Axel Hawkins arrived in M Country was at noon, and his birthday was still four or five days away.

He had been to their villa in M Country before and knew the way well; after getting off the plane, he did not call Elena Duncan or Liam Carrington but went directly to their home.

At that moment, he guessed that both Elena and Liam should be at home and would be very happy to see him.

When he rang the doorbell, the butler, upon seeing him, respectfully greeted him, "Young Master Axel has arrived, please come in."

Clearly, Simon Carrington and Daisy Willow had already notified the home of their arrival.

Axel followed the butler inside. After walking for a while and not seeing Elena and Liam, he was puzzled, "Where are Elena and Liam? Are they not at home?"

"Today, the lady went to school to collect her report card. She just called and said there was a movie at school that she wanted to watch before returning. The young master did come back but, hearing that there was a free movie at the lady’s school, he ran off to her school again," the butler answered truthfully to Axel’s question.

"Oh, I see," Axel nodded and smiled slightly.

He knew how much Liam liked to stick around Elena. This, he didn’t mind, as having Liam as a constant companion meant that any suitors for Elena could only be frustrated.

"Then I will take Young Master Axel to your room first. It’s right across from the lady’s room. Would you like to eat something? I can have the kitchen prepare it right away."

"No need. I ate on the plane. I’ll also go to Elena’s school to look around," Axel thought of surprising Elena as soon as possible, so even if Elena wasn’t at home, he saw it as an opportunity missed. Yet, he could follow Liam’s example and actively visit Elena’s school.

After all, it would soon be his school as well.

He could take this chance to familiarize himself with the campus.

Evelyn Willow and Stella Carrington, too, would report to this school in a few days. They both had applied for the same major, Secretary and Assistant. Evelyn chose this major because she wanted to always be by his side.

He did not oppose it; in fact, he had already decided to appoint Evelyn as his executive assistant.

As for Stella Carrington studying to be an assistant, it was because her grades weren’t very promising yet she wanted to attend the same university, and this major had lower entry requirements, which she could barely meet.

Elena was studying Business and Trade Management. Before choosing this major, she had been particularly torn and had called him to discuss it. Actually, since junior high, Elena’s dream had been to study hotel management like him because her mother, Daisy Willow, had also studied that field.

However, Simon Carrington wanted her to study business and trade so that she could work at Carrington Family after graduation. Hearing her father’s expectations, she didn’t want to let him down. Elena found Axel Hawkins even better, and her fondness for him grew deeper in her heart.
