Chapter 1084: 001 Don’t delude yourself into clinging to my dad_7
"Do we still need to find Axel?" Today is the first day of Carolline Ruiz’s honeymoon, and I’m not even sure if Axel is at his maternal grandparents’ house or his paternal grandparents’ house. Isn’t it a bit inappropriate for so many of us to go looking for him?"
Especially since there are four kids with us.
"Hmm, is that not okay?" Elena Duncan sensed Daisy Willow’s hesitation.
"No, what Mom means is, we have so many people here, if Axel has time, you ask him if he wants to come over to play. There are too many kids today, and if we take you out, what if we get separated?" Daisy Willow was worried about this; she had initially planned just to let them play down in the Residential Area.
After all, there is a Children’s Playground right downstairs.
"Alright then, I’ll ask him later," Elena nodded.
Elena is becoming more and more understanding, something Daisy Willow truly finds comforting.
Daisy’s mother sat down and continued eating with Daisy Willow, and Daisy’s father was also there. The living room was taken over by the two youngsters, and he, an old man, didn’t plan on joining the commotion.
"If Axel does come over, let’s buy some foods Axel loves to bring back," Daisy’s father said to Daisy’s mother, as Axel is Carolline Ruiz’s son and Carolline has done a lot for their family, especially for Daisy Willow. Everyone really likes Axel.
Especially since Elena and Axel are just like childhood sweethearts. Daisy’s parents also harbored some thoughts, hoping that as the kids grow up, if something could happen between them, it would be good fortune for their Elena and would put their minds at ease.
Of course, these are just their parents’ current thoughts. After all, the children are still young, and life has a long way to go. No one knows what these two will be like decades from now.
"Okay, I understand," Daisy’s mother nodded, sharing the same thoughts, favoring Axel a bit more than Simon Carrington’s children, though Liam Carrington was also quite adorable.
The atmosphere around the dining table was very harmonious, yet the relationship in the living room seemed quite tense.
Evelyn Willow walked over and, looking to please, handed two steamed buns to Stella Carrington, "Here you go, eat up, little miss."
"My name is Stella Carrington." Stella Carrington frowned, staring at the greasy, plump-faced Evelyn Willow, emphasizing coldly. No one had called her "little miss" before; the person before her was far too impolite.
At home, elders called her by name, and servants even addressed her as the young lady.
Who gave this chubby little brat the right to casually call her ’little miss’?
"Hmm, these two are for you. My grandma makes the best-tasting steamed buns. You’ll definitely regret it if you don’t eat them." Even though he had eaten enough himself and didn’t find them as appetizing anymore, Kent Auclair knew that his grandmother’s steamed buns were far tastier than those bought outside. Just seeing how happily Liam Carrington was eating them spoke volumes.
"I had my breakfast already, you eat them," Stella Carrington declined, enduring great restraint not to resist Kent Auclair’s closeness, especially since this was someone else’s home, with so many people around.
"Pfft, forget it then." Seeing Stella’s stubborn temperament, Kent Auclair couldn’t be bothered anymore. Since she wasn’t eating, he just shoved them into his mouth, and not finding a napkin on the coffee table, he simply wiped his greasy hands on his clothes.
Stella Carrington watched Kent’s actions; her lovely eyes suddenly widened in disgust, shocked by his lack of hygiene as this was the first time she had witnessed someone so unhygienic.
Kent Auclair didn’t mind that Stella watched "Balala the Fairies"; he disliked that animation series. Grabbing the remote control, he began to change the channel, going straight to the "Fighting Dragon" series which he preferred.
Stella Carrington was furious, finding him utterly rude, unhygienic, and lacking any manners.
Being a guest in their home, didn’t he know any basic manners? Naturally, the hosts should play whatever the guest wanted to watch. But Kent Auclair was quite the opposite, not giving an inch.
Stella Carrington stood up, fuming while Kent Auclair looked innocently, "Where are you going now? Not having breakfast, don’t you know it’s improper to just wander around someone’s home?"
"..." Stella Carrington was practically speechless at that moment. Did that mean her personal freedom was being restricted just because she was here? Couldn’t she walk around freely?
If it wasn’t because she knew Elena shared the same nature as her mother, she might even suspect that Kent Auclair was deliberately picking on her at Elena’s behest.
"I need to go to the restroom, okay?" Stella’s voice was loud, as she was indeed very angry.
Daisy Willow and others heard it, including Millie Campbell and the newly washed Elena and Liam Carrington, who all heard Stella’s shouts.
Liam Carrington frowned immediately; his sister was just too intolerant.
"Restroom? What’s that?" Kent Auclair looked utterly confused, which infuriated Stella even more. She regretted belittling herself by coming to Daisy’s home, encountering such a country bumpkin. She would rather have stayed at home, painting or reading her books.
