Scum Daddy Dreams Of Stealing My Mommy!
Chapter 481: Grandfather and Grandson Reunion

Chapter 481: Chapter 481: Grandfather and Grandson Reunion

Amelia didn’t expect that he had planned so much and after a moment of silence, sincerely said, "Thank you."

"Fool, it’s me who should thank you. In the future, if you want to work or start your own business, go ahead. If you don’t want to work so hard, you can stay at home. Everything I promised before counts, once the company is on track, it’s all yours, and I’ll work for you for life."

Christopher wanted to give her enough sense of security, so she could do everything freely and without worries.

Including her career, and... the matter of reconnecting with Thomas Smith.

But Amelia didn’t plan to rely on a man for her life.

Actually, in recent days, several national luxury brands have offered her opportunities, with very generous benefits.

She was very tempted.

After managing Venus herself, she realized she neither liked nor was good at being the boss.

She still missed the old days when she could focus solely on design and crafting, with Kane managing the backend smoothly.

So, she had thought, once everything settled down, she would choose a brand she liked and focus on being a designer.

However, she hadn’t had the chance to discuss these plans with Christopher yet.

But given his current attitude of agreeing to whatever she wanted, he would definitely support her with both hands up.

Hearing his words now, Amelia felt more at ease, "Alright! I’ve given everything for you, and it’s only right for you to repay me like this. So, Mr. Hart, work hard, I’m going out for a date now."

Seeing her finally show a smile that had been missing for days, Mr. Hart was satisfied and felt filled with hope for the future.

Thomas Smith waited in the car for a while, then Secretary Little Williams’ phone rang.

After the call, Little Williams turned around, "Mr. Smith, Chief Johnson has arrived, let’s get off the car."

"Mm."

Thomas Smith responded, and Little Williams quickly got out, opened the rear door, and reached in to support him, "Chairman Smith, your leg... maybe it’d be better if the young master comes back to check on it today."

"It’s fine, some rest will do." Thomas Smith moved his right leg with both hands, and only after getting out of the car, with the help of the secretary, did he slowly stand up.

Little Williams only dared to let go after he was steady.

Behind the Rolls-Royce, a Toyota pulled up.

The doors opened, and four well-dressed individuals got out, clearly individuals from within the system by their appearance and demeanor.

Little Williams quickly introduced, "Chairman Smith, this is Chief Johnson from the Education Department. Chief Johnson, this is our Chairman Smith."

Chief Johnson was extremely enthusiastic, quickly stretching both hands over, cordially and politely making small talk.

Then, the group headed towards the kindergarten.

The kindergarten principal and a group of executives had long been waiting at the entrance.

They were puzzled by this surprise inspection from above, but assuming their kindergarten excelled in all aspects, the principal was not worried about surprises and actually welcomed it greatly.

Thomas Smith’s aura was steady; although a businessman, his demeanor made him seem more like a leader, so mingling with leaders from the Education Department wasn’t out of place at all.

After visiting most of the campus, they finally arrived at the children’s activity area.

Coincidentally, it was the class of the triplets who were playing outside; some were playing ball, some climbing, some on the slides, some studying various plants in the botanical area.

Upon hearing from the principal about the class information and knowing it was the triplets’ class, Thomas Smith instinctively searched for their figures.

In fact, he had only seen the triplets’ photo last night; perhaps because psychologically he identified them as his relatives, he instantly felt a sense of closeness, and even from the features of the little girl, saw a slight shadow of Chloe...

However, with such a large group of children running and playing before him, he seemed to be visually impaired, unable to identify them for a while.

Suddenly, a ball rolled to his feet.

He instinctively bent down to pick it up, but Secretary Little Williams, being mindful of his condition, quickly grabbed the ball and handed it to him.

The next second, a little girl as delicate as a carved jade ran over, her crisp voice nearly melting hearts, "Uncle, that’s my ball, can you return it to me?"

Thomas Smith looked at that adorable, soft face and immediately matched it with the photo he had seen last night, feeling warm inside, and despite his leg’s discomfort, he squatted down to meet the little girl at eye level.

"Little sister, what’s your name?"

"My name is Hope Hart. I have two older brothers, they’re twin... oh no, we’re triplets!" Hope boasted, turning her head to look around, clearly searching for her brothers.

Thomas Smith watched her, the more he looked, the more he liked her; just like her mother, bright and lovable.

"Hope, do you like this kindergarten?"

Before the little girl could answer, a nearby teacher noticed them and, worried the child might say something wrong affecting the kindergarten’s reputation, quickly crouched down to guide, "Baby Hope, tell this uncle if our kindergarten is good, okay?"

Thomas Smith, aware of the teacher’s concerns, looked at her, and though his expression was gentle, his aura was strong, "Apologies teacher, I’d like to talk to the children alone."

The teacher, meeting his gaze, immediately blushed, either from nervousness or shyness.

After all, since their arrival, the teacher had noticed this extremely handsome, graceful middle-aged gentleman—from his looks and demeanor to his attire and elegant manners, he was indeed very eye-catching.

Embarrassed by the direct refusal, the teacher had to nod, stand up, and step back a little.

Thomas Smith returned the ball to Hope but held her small hand tightly, "Hope, do you like it here?"

"Uh, it’s okay!"

"Just okay?" Thomas Smith was a bit puzzled and instantly thought—if the education in River City isn’t sufficient, he’d have to consider bringing the children back to the Imperial Capital for their education.

Hope explained, "It was quite nice, but after getting familiar with the kids, some boys like to hug and kiss me, and I hate that. My big brother and second brother have warned them, but they still cling to me like shadows."

Hearing this, not only did Thomas Smith fail to hold back his laughter, even Little Williams beside him burst into giggles.

Who would have thought that children today would be so precocious and amusing.

"Sister!" Just as Thomas Smith was about to ask more questions, both Ethan and Noah ran over, flanking their sister protectively, looking at the adult opposite.

Their gaze clearly carried vigilance.

With all three gathered, Thomas Smith was momentarily stunned, then his eyes filled with even more joy.

"Are you her brothers?"

"Yes. Uncle, if you have any questions, ask us. Our sister is still young and doesn’t understand." Noah spoke with poise.

Hope was not pleased, "Where am I small? Where don’t I understand?"

Noah: "Sister, don’t fuss."

"Who’s fussing! Hmph!" Hope always adored attractive people; if she didn’t like someone, she would at best greet them politely before leaving. If she liked them, she’d chat more.

And the handsome and charming uncle before her, speaking gently, smiling kindly, and looking at her with obvious affection, she liked him from the start.

So, ignoring her brothers’ overprotectiveness, she boldly grabbed Thomas Smith’s large hand, "Uncle, come play ball with us! I can bounce a hundred times in a row!"
