Sheng Ting smiled and said, "When I went to your house last time, I added your auntie’s WeChat. Auntie sent me many cooking videos. Although there are many dishes I haven’t made before, it’s okay, I can learn them slowly."

Shen Weiyi’s emotions were complicated as she looked at him.

She wasn’t a particularly sentimental person, but the man before her always made her feel as if she was being pampered, almost like a second Shen Juanzhi. But Shen Juanzhi was good to her because they were related by blood. Whereas the man before her, it was because he liked her that he treated her well. He hoped that she would move in, not to find someone to share the housework with, but simply to be able to see her every day, to have more time to spend with her.

Shen Weiyi said, "I don’t want to be taken care of by you unilaterally; I hope that in the future, we can share everything, including household chores." The best relationship between two people is not one depending entirely on the other, blindly enjoying the other’s care and contribution, but instead a mutual dependence, sharing responsibilities, and then each having their independence.

Only in that way, can a relationship truly last.

"Okay!" Sheng Ting looked at her, his lips slightly parting, and his black eyes brimming with laughter.
