The National Day holiday passed by quickly, and for the next half a month, Sheng Ting was back to his busy schedule, running between the classroom and the laboratory every day.

Fortunately, the finance and chemistry buildings were face to face, making it a bit more convenient for the two to meet than before.

Sheng Ting waited until almost everyone had left before he came out of the classroom, ready to send a message to Shen Weiyi on his phone. When he looked up, he saw the very person standing at the classroom door.

He paused for a moment, then put away his phone.

Then those who hadn’t yet left the classroom saw the untouchable belle of their class, walking toward a girl with a gentle smile on his face.

"What are you doing here?" Sheng Ting asked, somewhat surprised, but more so delighted.

Even though their teaching buildings were close, this was the first time that girl had come to wait for him outside his classroom.

"I’m waiting for your class to end, so we can go eat together," Shen Weiyi said with a smile. She only had two classes that morning and knew that Sheng Ting had classes all morning, so she had come over early to wait for him.

Sheng Ting took the books from her hands and said, "Let’s go!"

On the way to the canteen, Sheng Ting asked, "Do you have any plans after lunch?"

"I’m planning to go to the library to find some materials." Although she successfully changed her major, finance was a popular field at Z University, and students admitted into it were the best of the best. If Shen Weiyi didn’t want to fall too far behind the others, she had to work even harder.

"I’ll go with you," Sheng Ting said.

"Don’t you have to go to the lab this afternoon?" Shen Weiyi knew he didn’t have classes in the afternoon, but he usually spent this time in the lab.

Sheng Ting curved the corners of his lips and said, "The experiment I was running has finished, and the professor gave us some time off." If she hadn’t come over, he was planning to look for her anyway.

"Alright, since you don’t have to go to the lab, we can spend more time at the library this afternoon," Shen Weiyi said with a smile. This was kind of like a date for them.

Since the holiday, besides eating meals together, the two of them rarely had any other time together.

Mainly, both were too busy. One was busy adapting to a new major, while the other was occupied with specialized experiments, practices, and various other courses.

"Good!"

The library at Z University was basically full seven days a week, and it took them a long time to find a place to sit.

At one point, Sheng Ting looked up at the girl sitting next to him. The sunlight streamed through the window onto her fair face, quiet and gentle, and in that instant, all seemed peacefully still.

After entering November, the weather began to cool down.

Shen Weiyi had arranged to have breakfast with Sheng Ting, and wrapped herself in a sweater before heading out.

Since Sheng Ting was coming from his apartment, they had agreed to meet directly at the canteen.

Upon arriving at the canteen, Shen Weiyi spotted Sheng Ting standing by the entrance. Tall and elegant, he was like a sculpted figure of white jade, drawing the eyes of those around him.

Shen Weiyi quickly walked towards him.

"Have you been waiting long?"

"No!"

Sheng Ting took her hand, noticing it was a little cold.

"Cough, cough..." Just as he was about to speak, he heard Shen Weiyi cough a few times softly.

Sheng Ting’s brows involuntarily furrowed, "Did you catch a cold?"

"It’s nothing, probably just a slight cold from the change of seasons!" Shen Weiyi had good health, and minor colds weren’t a big concern to her.

"You go in and wait, I’ll be there in a moment," Sheng Ting said, then turned to leave.

"Where are you going?" Shen Weiyi asked instinctively.

"I’m going to get something," Sheng Ting replied, then headed out.

Shen Weiyi didn’t know what he was up to and could only go into the canteen to wait for him.
